Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has given the late Michael Jackson’s This Is It a release date for the DVD and Blu-ray version of the film.  They aren’t dishing it out for the holiday season so don’t get too excited.  You will have to wait until after the New Year.  January 26, 2010 is the official date set.

There will be tons of extras for our viewing pleasure as we continue to look back on the life of Michael Jackson.  They have even included two documentaries, ”Staging the Return: Beyond the Show” and “Staging the Return: The Adventure Begins.”

We will get to hear from the people that worked with Michael Jackson on the set.  This will be a very inside look to how it was all going down.

This Is It has already brought in a ton of cash…. $168 million across the globe and this DVD/Blu-ray release is going to increase that number big time.
