One pop star isn’t enough for the cover of Elle, so this month they offer up two:  Britney Spears and Lady Gaga both appear on covers of Elle‘s January 2010 issue.

I don’t think I’m feeling either of these covers.  Lady Gaga looks like a very tired Madonna circa 1992.  And Brit-Brit is super cute with Jayden and Sean, but Elle is a fashion magazine, and this is not a fashion image.   It’s a PR shot if anything.
