Things do change quickly, don’t they?  Just a couple of months ago, Uma Thurman told W Magazine that she was “happily engaged” to Arpad “Arki” Busson, and now they’re dunzo.  She dumped him!   Supposedly their relationship “fizzled out because of the long distance between the pair.”   Uma lives in Los Angeles and Arki in London, which Uma had admitted presented a challenge.

Sources say that “The engagement ended a while back – but they remain friends,” which is very civil and all.  I wonder what the real story is here, though?  Arki has been engaged before, to Elle MacPherson, and that ended too.  Methinks perhaps someone is just not the marrying type!   I also want to know whether she’s going to return that enormous engagement ring or not…
