Michelle Duggar, the mom from TLC’s “18 Kids and Counting” gave birth to her 19th child in baby via an emergency C-section last night at 6:27 pm (December 10) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

The new baby is a girl and they named her, Josie Brooklyn (keeping the ‘J’ names going).  She weighs in at only 1 pound 6 ounces.  Josie is stable but, this is a very scary time.

TLC reports “Michelle is resting comfortably” while Josie Brooklyn stays at the neonatal intensive care unit, and that “the family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”

Michelle wasn’t due with Josie until March, but was suffering from a gallstone and that triggered the early labor.  Michelle was only 25 weeks along, but Josie has a good chance of survival, 82% in fact.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Duggar family. Thanks to great medical studies, I think that little Josie is going to pull through.  She’s got an amazing family ready to take care of her and love on her.
