There are all sorts of ‘Top 10‘ lists being compiled as the decade winds down.  2009 has been one busy year with a lot of death, a lot of scandal, of course babies and relationships.  BUT, we don’t want to leave out all those bikini babes that strutted their stuff round the world for our viewing pleasure.

I have come up with a few of these bikini bods that have earned some special recognition for 2009.

So here it is starting with number ten:

10 – Rihanna
This girl is all about Rated R and she proves it on a daily basis.  I applaud you RiRi for rising above and moving on.  May 2o1o bring you a whole new look on life…

9 – Katrina Darrell (American Idol ‘hopeful’)
I don’t know if anyone has worked harder at 15 minutes of fame and getting their bikini body on display.  Well done ‘Bikini Girl’.

8 – Holly Madison
There just can’t be a Top 10 bikini list without Holly on it.  Thank you for another year of eye candy girl!

7 – Miley Cyrus
The world was up in arms when Miley debuted her tattoo wearing a tiny pink bikini.  I give you props girl! Keep being you in 2010!

6 – Kate Gosselin
Any mom much less one with 8 kids and a body like that deserves a hand.  Yes, there was surgery, and yes it was by the hands of her now ex-husbands lover’s father, but Kate maintains that bod people! Nice work, Kate.  We appreciate your efforts.

5 – AnnaLynne McCord
Thank you Miss McCord for another year of great snaps.  You are always reliable girl for hot pics.  Happy New Year, we look forward to seeing more of you in 2010.

4 – Kristin Cavallari
The Hills brought back the ‘b*tch’ and well, with that we got another babe in a bikini.  So for that it was worth it, right?  Welcome back, Kristen.

3 – Britney Spears
You go girl!  Perfect Circus tour and a life getting back on track.  This mother of two has her world and her body back.

2 – Stephanie Pratt
I know, I know.  You’re wondering how on earth Stephanie Pratt made this list!  Well, this is a bikini list and look at her!  Steph looks fabulous.  It’s been a rough year and you’d never know it looking at her here… Happy New Year Steph, I hope 2010 is kind to you….

THE NUMBER ONE SPOT GOES TO….

1 - Valerie Bertinelli
This woman worked her @ss off, literally.  she derserves major kudos for that amazing body she earned.   Congrats Val.  You are an inspiration to people everywhere.
