TMZ got their hands on the mug shot of “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge Shane Sparks. He was was arrested and charged with 8 counts of child molestation last week. (Details HERE.)
Of course Sparks’ lawyers are claiming his innocence saying he is merely the victim of an extortion plot. The will all come out in the end, as the case is still being investigated.

One of the “loves” of my life, Steven Tyler has decided to take a trip to rehab to kick his painkiller addiction. The poor guy must have been in a lot of pain after that last spill he took off the stage.
Thankfully Steven Tyler has his priorities straight,
“With the help of my family and team of medical professionals, I am taking responsibility for the management of my pain and am eager to be back on the stage and in the recording studio with my bandmates. I love Aerosmith; I love performing as the lead singer in Aerosmith,” he added. “I am grateful for all of the support and love I am receiving and am committed to getting things taken care of.”
Steven’s daughter, Liv Tyler has been supporting him all the way,
“My family and I are in complete support of my dad’s decision to seek treatment. He is a courageous man. We love him and are so proud that he is getting help to balance his pain management, not just for himself but for his family, friends and fans.”
The doctors that have been treating him for the pain have said that Steven Tyler will have to undergo surgeries on his feet and knees,
“Managing and controlling his pain has been challenging, and despite our use of alternative therapies and the creation of custom shoes built by a team of engineers from Timberland, Steven’s pain has progressed,” said McKeon, who also is team doctor for the Boston Celtics. “The balance between managing his pain and avoiding addiction is tenuous and difficult and his bravery in persevering through rigorous touring is admirable. As with many athletes, Steven put his performance first as he struggled with acute pain for years.”
I am grateful that he is getting things under control now. There are a lot of haters out there pointing fingers, but that’s what haters do. Point fingers, trying to forget about all of their imperfections. I am seeing that sad trait all too much since Brittany Murphy’s death, really pathetic people.
Steven Tyler is the heart and soul of Aerosmith, he will be back. I stand behind him and the band as do all of their loyal fans. Get well soon, Steven. Merry Christmas!

Kanye West and his freakish looking girlfriend, Amber Rose hit up the movie theater in Los Angles last night (December 22) to see Avatar. That movie most likely made Amber Rose feel right at home, I think she might have been in the movie…she resembles those alien-like creatures.

Maybe now I know why Britney Spears looked so horrible yesterday (photos here). The judge had just decided to extend her conservatorship.
Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears is going to continue to receive a $16,000/month salary for his duties. The co-conservator, Andrew Wallet also made bank, receiving $174,569.10 for all his ‘hard’ work from July 2009 to November 2009. Good grief!
To top it off, Brit had to pay up $300,000 in lawyer fees. How lovely for her. I am guessing that Britney was really hoping to have her freedom back. Hopefully in another 6 to 12 months she will be able to break free from her mooching father.

Johnny Knoxville now has a little man to carry on his great name. Johnny’s girlfriend, Naomi Nelson gave birth to Rocko Akira Clapp on Sunday night in Los Angeles. This little dude weighed in at an even eight pounds and a perfect twenty inches long. Big boy!
Johnny’s daughter, Madison (13) is excited to have a baby brother!

TMZ is reporting that Lynne Curtin from The Real Housewives of Orange County and her husband Frank Curtin didn’t show up to a courtroom yesterday to answer questions relating to a $1.2 million judgment they were ordered to pay to a former business partner.
The judge served a bench warrant for both of their arrests! Wow, Lynne needs to get her act together, this is ridiculous and so irresponsible….or a great publicity stunt!

Great news for X-Men fans has come, Bryan Singer is returning to direct X-Men: First Class. Here’s a recent interview:
Singer got on the phone to talk “First Class,” his other projects such as New Line’s fairy tale “Jack the Giant Killer” and what he thought of “Avatar.”
Heat Vision: So how did you end up coming back to “X-Men”?
Bryan Singer: It started with a conversation between (Fox co-chairman) Tom Rothman and I some time ago. We not only concluded a deal, but I’ve written a pretty concise treatment. There’s a story that I really want to tell.
Heat Vision: What is the story?
Singer: I can’t tell you that; it’s secret. But it’s basically about the formation of the X-Men. How they began and the relationship between a young Xavier and a young Magneto.
Heat Vision: I remember when you left “X3″ to do “Superman Returns.” It wasn’t under the best of circumstances.
Singer: A lot of that was comical and exaggerated. When you set up a rather lucrative franchise and produce one of the company’s biggest television shows (“House”), I think there is a lot of good energy on a business level.
But also, Tom Rothman and I have a very strong relationship from those early days of “X-Men 1″ when he ascended to the chairmanship and I was involved in this very important movie for the studio. We bonded then. So I think he was frustrated then, as was I, because I couldn’t do a third “X-Men,” but that moment of frustration passed.
We have always looked at different projects to do together, but the timing was never right to do something like this. But now, it’s been about 10 years since the first “X-Men,” and this is a nice opportunity to look back at the origins of that universe.

Haha! Russell Brand truly never surprises me. Nope. Never. So when Katy Perry’s man stepped out of the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles to kiss her goodbye, his attire wasn’t all that shocking. I think that his pretty, little tank top came out of Katy Perry’s suitcase. That is certainly not a man’s top! Russell Brand is his own man and Katy loves him. Too cute. They are certainly the perfect pair…

Here’s a description of the first trailer for the upcoming Christopher Nolan film Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The new full trailer is not out to the public yet, but this gives us a glimpse.
This evening, I attended a packed advanced screening of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes. About 95% of the time at these screenings, they don’t show trailers before the film. Tonight, I was surprised to find a brand new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Inception attached. The trailer isn’t actually available for public viewing yet, but you can hit the jump for a brief description and some reactions.
[Note that I cannot vouch for the accuracy of any of the following; I wasn't expecting to see the trailer so I didn't have a chance to grab my notepad.]
Overall, I have to confess: This trailer was almost completely incomprehensible, a series of images and words that left me in kind of a daze, albeit excited as well. The trailer begins quietly and we get a voiceover by Leonardo DiCaprio. According to one IMDB poster, the voiceover dialogue was as follows:
What’s the most resilient form of parasite? An idea. An idea has the power to build a city… to change the world, and re-write all the rules..
In perhaps one of the most spectacular visuals from any trailer I’ve seen in recent memory, we see a city block folding upwards at a right angle into an L shape, while citizens in the foreground look on (a glimpse of Ellen Page is seen at around this time). The trailer continues to throw random images at you without any context or explanation. Leo is at a cafe when there appears to be an explosion in the background that freezes all of a sudden, Matrix-style. According to the same IMDB poster, “At one point a train is driving down a street, plowing through cars. People are fighting mid-air, someone on a motorcycle drives beside a car holding a huge gun. Ken Watanabe looks like a really scary villain from the one smile he gives.” Here’s how random and jam-packed this trailer was: I don’t actually remember any of that stuff happening!
All this stuff is followed by Leo delivering the capper line, referring to the “idea” from earlier:
…and that’s why I need to steal it.
We see Leo in a kitchen holding a gun. Lots of people are apparently in distress, perhaps fighting one another. Lots of extremely slow-motion imagery of water, and water colliding with people.
Sounds cool, even if nothing more is explained about the plot in the trailer I’m still excited to see this movie. Christopher Nolan is a true artist and I’d be happy to watch anything he makes.
