Here’s the first poster for the upcoming film Knight & Day starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

An action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple (Cruise and Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one – even themselves – are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust.

This movie should be a fun little romp, the last time I remember these two together was in Vanilla Sky, that was clearly a completely different vibe. I hope this is a good one.

Wes Craven has written his first film since New Nightmare and it’s called My Soul to Take. Here are some fresh details on the plot (Spoiler Alert!):

In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer.

Adam “Bug” Heller (Max Thierot) was supposed to die on the bloody night his father went insane. Unaware of his dad’s terrifying crimes, he has been plagued by nightmares since he was a baby. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that’s returned, he must face an evil that won’t rest…until it finishes the job it began the day he was born.

Sounds like it will be pretty cool, I’m game. It kind of reminds me of Steven King’s IT, hope its good!

Ok so here’s the real Spoiler part:

So, here’s the image. It might mean very little now, but it’s reputedly quite the spoiler once you know anything of how the story starts to play out. It was originally posted on the MySpace page of stuntman Manny Siverio and then appeared on Bloody Disgusting, who have since removed the page, no doubt playing along with some plot-twist cover up.

It seems a little too co-incidental that they removed the image from the sites, I’m sure this is the killer. Not too scary! He looks like a trucker.

The Hangover director Todd Phillips wants to put Tiger Woods in The Hangover 2!

Hollyscoop spoke exclusively with The Hangover director Todd Phillips in Las Vegas while promoting the DVD release, and he wants to cast Tiger Woods in the sequel!

Phillips said, “We are going to try and get Tiger Woods for the second one…Yeah help him regain his image.” They say comedy is the best cure for anything, even scandals. “Mike (Tyson) loved doing the Hangover because he loved fucking with the image people had of him. He knew we were not making fun of him but of the image people projected on him.”

Although Philips may have been joking, Justin Bartha (Doug in the movie) says there is a possibility it can happen. “If Todd says it thus will happen…might happen, you never know. I’m going to talk to him about it.”

I don’t know how much putting him in a movie about debauchery will help his career, but it can’t hurt. And I don’t think Tiger Woods is quite as out there as Mike Tyson yet, but hopefully he can snag him for a part. It would be great.

Here’s the trailer for the new comedy Hot Tub Time Machine.

Could be funny, but it seems more like a long episode of Family Guy than a good idea for a whole feature length movie. And it won’t be as funny as Family Guy. Seems like the studio’s are out of ideas, they need to change their script acquisition methods.

Famed Night of the Living Dead director George A. Romero has yet another film coming out. It’s called Survival of the Dead and it’s coming out this spring.

George A. Romero’s new zombie pic, “Survival of the Dead,” has landed at Magnet Releasing, which has set a spring release.

Romero’s film, the latest in a series starting with 1968′s “Night of the Living Dead,” bowed at the Venice and Toronto film festivals this year.

Magnet will unspool “Survival” on VOD platforms nationwide a month before its theatrical release.

Story centers on an isolated refuge where two powerful families maintain a semblance of order in the wake of the zombie holocaust. But as the inhabitants slowly die off, the two clans become sharply divided, leading to an escalating showdown with echoes of a classic Western standoff.

George A. Romero really never strays from zombie flicks, but who can blame him? This is really his bread and butter. I’m sure when he dies he’ll come back and be the first zombie film director, maybe then he’ll make romantic comedies.

This movie looks mildly entertaining at best, another to add to my list of movies I’d rather not waste my time on.

Jennifer Lopez covers the January 2010 issue of Allure, with a headline proclaiming, “The Diva Returns.”   It’s interesting, though, that everything she tells the magazine seems designed to make her look as unlike a diva as possible.

On getting older:

“When you’re a creative person, there’s a certain carefree-ness about you that makes you want to ride in the convertible with the top down and your hair in the wind and all this stuff. But at a certain point you have to change your life.”

On how twins Max and Emme changed her life:

“To a certain extent, having children did change me.  But it made me want to look at the places that I wasn’t great and learn to love myself and take care of myself more.”

On her evolving attitude about exercise:

“I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department.  You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids…you’re kind of unmotivated. You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the least amount to maintain that.”

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming star packed romantic comedy Valentine’s Day, coming out on February 12th, 2010. This one features Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift.

This trailer is certainly better than the last version, it seems the re-shoots might have actually helped. And clearly they added the stuff with Lautner and Swift to pull in a bigger audience. Regardless, I still have no interest in seeing this.

Tonight is the big night for season 19 of Survivor. This has been one crazy season and anything is possible for this big finale.

I have been on Team Russell for a long time now.  But can he pull it off?  After stabbing Shambo in the back, I am not sure of how he could win the jury votes….
