Here’s the first trailer for Kevin Smith‘s new film. It was originally called A Couple of Dicks but is now (quite fittingly) called Cop Out. It stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan.

This looks funny, but it’s certainly no Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I think the years of awesome Kevin Smith films is long gone. Although that fact is sad, I’ll still watch this.

James Cameron‘s new film Avatar has reached the astronomical amount of $617.3 million in its first 10 days of release, and it’s still going strong!

“ Avatar” surprised no one by taking the No. 1 spot on the foreign circuit for the second weekend in a row.

But director James Cameron’s mega-budget epic raised eyebrows with its overseas boxoffice staying power, grossing $145 million — a mere 12% drop from its opening weekend — from 14,844 screens. It did well in its second week in the U.S. as well.

Triple-digit opening grosses usually decline substantially in the ensuing weekend. A drop of less than 50% is considered positive by the industry. Distributor 20th Century Fox said “Avatar’s” relative miniscule decline “is even more impressive given theatre closures in many markets on Dec. 24 and/or Dec. 25.”

The film’s offshore cumulative total stands at $405 million. Worldwide tally clocks in at $617.3 million.

I just saw this movie the other night, and I must say I want to go see it again. This time in IMAX 3D, it was already an amazing experience in regular 3D. James Cameron does it big again. Next stop $1 billion!

Here’s the poster for the upcoming zombie flick Zombies of Mass Destruction.

This definitely lands on the more comedic side of the zombie movie spectrum. Then again it’s hard to take any zombie movie seriously anymore isn’t it?

We officially only 16 days away from the premiere of American Idol.  I can hardly wait.  This season will be really different and I am anxious to get a feel for it.  The big day lands on January 12 on FOX.

American Idol season 9 will have some big changes.  The biggest being Ellen Degeneres replacing Paula Abdul.  Idol has also eliminated the Wild Card round and will be going back to the 24 semifinalist format.

Rihanna is taking a break from promoting her Rated R album by relaxing on the beach back home in Barbados in an ugly, pink bikini.  Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.  I think that thing is hideous. Not the least bit flattering.  It looks like it belongs on a three year old!  But then again, I am never too fond of Rihanna’s attire.

Rachael Ray did a racy photo shoot for FHM magazine way back in 2003 and well, it’s coming back to the limelight and it’s by her choice!

Rachael did an interview with ABC Nightline that will air tomorrow night and she confesses that she’d do it again,

“I think I was 35 at the time. And I thought about it for a while, and I said, ‘You know what? This magazine has as young as 17-, 18-year-olds in hottie bikinis, and these are all actresses, models, pin-up girls. I don’t belong to any even remote club of theirs.’”

Rachael Ray continues, “And I thought, ‘If I’m gutsy enough to do this, this is a good thing for everybody. This is the everywoman, here she is. And I did it, and it was the most scared I’ve ever been, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’d do it again tomorrow.”

I honestly don’t know why everyone if freaking out.  This is not Playboy.  Rachael Ray has all her clothes on.  She’s just a little playful in the kitchen…. behaving like most men want their women to behave in the kitchen.  Big deal.  I think it’s a great shoot.  Every woman should follow Rachael Ray’s lead…. oh, and learn to cook like her too!

Donald Trump’s ex wife, Ivana Trump must be feeling a surge of anger now that she is heading into her fourth divorce and she took her rage aboard a commercial plane yesterday (December 26) and unleashed it upon a bunch of kids.

Some of the young passengers were running wildly and yelling around the plane and Ivana Trump couldn’t handle it.  She cursed and screamed at them! When the flight attendants tried to stop her which only pissed her off more and she went off on them too.  Obviously that is grounds for removal and she was asked to leave the plane.  But no! Ivana Trump refused to disembark the plane and had to be escorted off by the Palm Beach County deputies.

How embarrassing!  What was Ivana Trump thinking?  Talk about making an @ss out of yourself!  Sheesh!  Mrs. Scrooge anyone?

Here’s the first poster for the upcoming live action video game adaptation Tekken.

I’ve been a Tekken fan since Tekken 2 came out for the original Playstation in the 90s, always loved the game and still play the most current version Tekken 6. Unfortunately they’ve decided to turn the story into a movie but I can tell just from this poster how little justice will be done to the characters that make up these great fighting games.
