Gilbert Arenas looks like he is about to lose a lot of money.  $111 million to be exact.  The Washington Wizards believe that Arenas is in violation of his contract after that ‘gun show’ he put on (details here.)

Reportedly, a team official was trading text messages with Arenas after the locker room incident.  He was pointing out that Arenas could lose his contract after he violated the clause in his contract prohibiting him from engaging in conduct detrimental to the team or the NBA.

Things are not looking good for Gilbert Arenas. He may be out of a job and a lot of money very soon.  The Wizards’ execs seem to be working with the police quite ‘nicely’….stay tuned!
