Dennis Hopper (73) has filed for divorce from his fifth wife, Victoria Duffy (41) from his deathbed.  Hopper is dying from prostate cancer and reportedly has only a month or less to live.  In order to keep Duffy from getting too much out of his will, Hopper wants to have her officially divorced from him and therefore will free up all of his estate and money to his children.

I don’t know if there is more to this than is being reported, but if there isn’t I feel terrible for Victoria.  Her husband is about to die and he is pretty much disowning her.  After 14 years you’d think that Hopper would be able to trust her with his money and that she will distribute it to all of his 4 kids.

I for one, was shocked by this news.  It’s really, really sad all around.  Dennis Hopper is dying and this is how he is ‘going out’.
