‘Eli’ Can’t Stop ‘Avatar’ in Box Office
Avatar pulled the #1 slot for the 5th week in a row bringing it’s domestic total to a whopping $505 million! Stepping proudly into the #2 slot was the new Denzel Washington film The Book of Eli. Peter Jackson‘s new film The Lovely Bones opened wide in the #3 slot. The only other film opening was the new Jackie Chan kids movie, The Spy Next Door at #5.
