Tim Tebow Controversial Super Bowl Ad

Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad Pam Tebow 2010

The Super Bowl is stirring up more that football rivals this year.  Due to a CBS-approved ad that is set to air during the Super Bowl, there is an outrage already igniting.

An ad starring Tim Tebow, the evangelical quarterback from Florida who’s headed for the spring NFL draft is frankly pissing off a lot of pro-choicers out there.

Focus on the Family, along with Tim Tebow and his mother, Pam shot an ad that shares their story about how she ignored doctors advice to abort a potential problem pregnancy and, resting on her faith, carried Tim to term.

USA Today points out that this ad might make people feel like Focus on the Family and the Tebows are saying:

I love my family more than you love your family” v. My love is as good as yours.

Or

God honors my choices, not yours.

“An ad that uses sports to divide rather than to unite has no place in the biggest national sports event of the year — an event designed to bring Americans together,” said Jehmu Greene, speaking for a a coalition of women who oppose the ad.

I would love to hear what you guys think?  Is there anything wrong with Tim Tebow and his mother sharing their story?  Or should they keep it to themselves?  Sound off below…

The only controversy associated with this seems to come from a very small group (the usual suspects!) I myself happen to be pro-life (as a Christian, that’s kind of a given) and I can’t understand why “pro-choice” people won’t recognize letting the baby live as a “choice.” Life is a miracle, and we shouldn’t let a little group of angry activists censor us about celebrating life.
I am a proud father, and I am also proud of my hometown hero Tim Tebow!

Thank God, there are people like the Tebows who do not bow to the pressures of political correctness raging in our society. Individuals like Jehmu Greene are forcing their values on everyone else and call it freedom of choice. But when it’s the Tebow’s turn to exercise this same freedom of choice, the opponents are infuriated. Such arrogance! Where is the choice that Planned Parenthood, keep on preaching? Who do pro-choices think they are? Bullies? I think they are one of the biggest bullies along with the ACLU bullies.
