Washington Wizards reserve guard Javaris Crittenton has been charged with two misdemeanor gun charges according to the Washington Post.

Javaris Crittenton tossed his gun in the laundry basket in the locker room after the incident with Gilbert Arenas (details here) but unfortunately for Crittenton, his problems did not come out in the wash.  Nice try buddy.

Crittenton is allegedly working on a plea agreement.  Question is, will Javaris Crittenton lose his Wizards contract like Gilbert Arenas did?

UPDATE: Crittenton has pled guilty to one misdemeanor in exchange for dropping the other. He is not expected to get any jail time, just probation and will be sentenced this afternoon.

The Business Insider is reporting that the merger between Live Nation and Ticketmaster merger just received official approval from the U.S. Department of Justice and should close immediately.

Back in February, Live Nation announced their plans to buy Ticketmaster for $400 million in stock. Pretty much everyone and their mom was upset by this announcement, so the Department of Justice stepped in and investigated, and now approved the deal.

So, I guess that Live Nation will be the one BIG music monster to rip off the public with their insane fees for all of us concert-goers.  Good times.  Good times.

The NY Post is reporting that an American Idol finalist, Michael Lynche (“Big Mike”) was booted from the competition after his father told the local Florida paper, The St. Petersburg Times that he had made the top 24.  This was a breach of the confidentiality agreement and Big Mike has been replaced by another contestant that made the top 50.

What a stupid thing to do.  Dashing your son’s dreams because you can’t be patient.  Maybe Big Mike can audition next year and NOT tell his father?

Gary Coleman has been arrested in Santaquin, UT.  Police say they were called to Coleman’s house for a domestic disturbance. They didn’t see any evidence of a crime, but had to take Coleman in for a prior incident.  The guy has a record.  He is currently being held on $1,725 bail.

As of this morning, Gary Coleman is still in jail and he reportedly ate his dinner last night.  Good to know.

Heidi Montag is still on the mend after receiving a 10 procedure cosmetic surgery (see more post-op pics here).  Part of her healing process has been doing some yoga out in the fields in Los Angeles.

It looks like she’s coming along ‘nicely’ and those DDD boobs seem to be ‘meshing’ quite nicely with her.  What do you think?

Former Olympian, Nancy Kerrigan lost her father, Daniel Kerrigan yesterday morning. He suffered from a massive heart attack and died at the scene.  He was 70 years old.

Nancy’s brother, Mark Kerrigan was allegedly fighting with his father in the kitchen, things got physical and now Daniel is dead.  Mark has been arrested and charged with assault and battery of an elder with serious bodily injury.

Nancy’s mother told the Boston Herald, “”My husband had a massive heart attack,” adding “This is a very difficult time for me.” The paper also reports that Mark told police he thought his dad was “faking it” when he fell to the floor.

UPDATE: Nancy’s mother told police the fight was over the telephone — when Daniel refused to let Mark use the phone, Mark grabbed him by the throat. When Daniel was choking, Mark thought his father was “faking it.”

Mischa Barton can’t seem to catch a break these days.  It’s one thing after another for the struggling actress.  Mischa’s latest troubles come from her landlord, MRA Realties Inc. who is suing her after allegedly refusing to pay her $7,000/month rent on her New York City apartment.

Mischa hasn’t been able to pay her rent for the past three months.  Eeek, $21,000 behind on rent is huge.  It’s time for family and friends to step in and help a girl out before Mischa slips back to that dark place that landed her in a psychiatric hold.

People Magazine is reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are NOT breaking up despite the pretty detailed report that they are legally separating (read those details here) and so we are all left wondering what the truth is.

Multiple sources that claim to be close to the family say ”Everything is fine” and that all the other reports are  ”totally false.”

Personally, I think that they are ending their relationship.  Maybe they don’t want to the world to know about it right now.  But we all know they have been going their separate ways for a long time now.

Don’t you find it odd that neither of their actual res have denied the reports?  If the reports were false, I think they would say so.  But if they say they are lies and in a few weeks, we see the black and white proof, they will look bad.
