This isn’t the best news I’ve ever reported. Jersey Shore completed it’s first season and well, it’s coming back for round two. MTV is going to play a negotiations game with the cast in order to play up the hype and boost the ratings even higher for Jersey Shore season 2.

TMZ reports that MTV offered Snooki, Pauly D, “The Situation” and the others each a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 an episode.  They all rejected it, naturally.  They want more money.  Are we surprised?  NO.  So, MTV doubled their offer to $10k an episode. No word yet on if that was satisfactory or not.  I highly doubt that they will accept it.  They can get more and they know it.

Matt Goss and Daisy Fuentes have taken separate paths after 10 years together.  They were engaged for a very long 7 years but never tied the knot.

CONFIRMED – BRAD PITT & ANGELINA JOLIE SPLIT

Matt has been the one crushed by the split since the rumors started that Daisy went back to her ex-boyfriend, Luis Miguel (Latin singer),

“We had a long and loving relationship.  This came as a shock, especially when you think you really know someone. I wish her all the best and hope she finds whatever it is that she’s searching for.”

Well that’s sad.  These are the relationships that you think will last forever, then you see the split and you begin to lose a little faith in true love….

It’s hard to imagine Victoria Beckham before she was Mrs. Beckham, or before she was Posh Spice, for that matter.  But check this out…here she is in a series of photos taken when she was just 18 years old, a student still known as Victoria Adams.

And wow!  Where’s the bitchy, stony faced, angular Posh we know and love (to rag on)?  This Victoria is all soft, sweet innocence.  And smiling!  It’s lovely, really. And since she’s 18 in these pics, you don’t have to feel like a dirty old man looking at her teeny boobies in their front-clasp bra.  Bonus!  Seriously, though, I love the lack of artifice in this shoot.  It’s proof that Vicks is maybe human after all.

Last night the stars were out for yet another awards show.  This time it was the 2010 SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild) where Betty White was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, she looked fabulous! See all SAG glam HERE.

Simon Cowell is organizing a celebrity-filled song to benefit those affected by the January 12 earthquake in Haiti. So far Simon has gotten Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis committed to the project.

“We are going to do a single. I want to do something for Haiti, and we had a request from the Prime Minister to put a record together,” says Simon. “I’ve got to get it together in 48 hours. It’s not the best timing, but I will make it happen.”

That is such a great idea and I think it’s going to be a hit.  Everyone wants to help Haiti in any possible way they can.  Way to go Simon!  Can’t wait to hear the song!

I panicked for about 2 seconds when I saw the buzz on Johnny Depp dead, Johnny Depp car crash, Johnny Depp dies, Johnny Depp death, etc.  That would have been beyond tragic people.  But, alas this is just another lame rumor some moron started.  I don’t get why people like to start these celebrity death rumors. “Hmmmm, I’m bored…. I know!  I think I’ll start a rumor on the ever-powerful internet that Johnny Depp died in a car crash this morning..”  Give me a break.

Have no fear Johnny Depp fans, he is alive and well and will continue to bring us some of the most amazing movies we’ve ever seen.  This rumor has been confirmed as just that, a RUMOR. Thank God!

Kylie Minogue must be making the rounds of the Spanish language magazines.  She’s following up her wicked sexy Max spread with an equally hot shoot for Vogue Espana.

Kylie was photographed by Vincent Peters on Ibiza last August.  She poses in a sunlit field, and plays in the water… topless even!  Throughout the shoot, Kylie wears jewelry by Tous.  Not too surprising, as she’s the face of the accessories line.   Enjoy these photos!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally ended their relationship. No real surprise here as this was expected to happen sooner that later.  Brangelina filed for legal separation and are going to get everything finalized without too much fuss .  In fact they have already come to an agreement on custody of the kids and the money.

The agreement gives them joint custody of the kids, but all six will actually live full-time with Angelina Jolie.  News of the World reports that they began the ‘divorce’ papers in December.

So this is it, six kids and five years later, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie call it quits.

A source told the News of the World: “The document was signed in early January. Both Brad and Angelina had signed it.  The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple’s split.  It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children.  But Angelina will actually be the one who lives with them full-time.There’s no date for when the contract would come into effect.  But the paperwork is already organised for a break- up – and for it to be as unmessy for them as possible. It is clear it’s a case of when they break up rather than if.”

Well, this is for the best for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.  I just feel bad for the kids.  Or maybe it’s best for them as well.  Stay tuned for the official announcement.

The new film The Hobbit was set for release in December of 2011, but it looks like it’s not going to be out until late the following year.

[Warners top dog Alan] Horn won’t predict when the first of the two Hobbit films will be out, but says the most probable scenario would be a release in the fourth quarter of 2012.

That’s a full year behind the previously publicised schedule. Best guess is that the slow down has been caused by the ongoing MGM sell-off and restructuring. It was starting to look rather unlikely that Guillermo Del Toro could really have wrapped a film up by the end of next year anyway.

Sad news for anxious fans, but it’s good that they aren’t rushing it. I’d rather the movie be really great and have to wait a little longer than have it be bad and come out next year.
