The weeks leading up to a young couple’s wedding is comic and stressful, especially as their respective fathers (Whitaker and Mencia) try to lay to rest their feud.
Sounds like it has potential to be funny, but I would have to say this lands in the ‘Chick Flick’ area on the movie genre map.

David Hasselhoff is finished with America’s Got Talent. Now he is ready for for his own A&E reality series. The series “will take a behind-the-scenes look into the life of ‘The Hoff’ focusing on his multiple entertainment and business endeavors, as well as his most important role as a single dad trying to help his teenage daughters break into the recording industry.” Hmmm, I actually think there are a lot of people who’d like to be a fly on the wall in David’s life.

Whether you know him from “Knight Rider,” “Baywatch,” or “America’s Got Talent,” there is no disputing the iconic status of “The Hoff.” In between stints on TV, starring roles on Broadway, live performances and business ventures that have taken him worldwide, he is also a single dad, raising two teenage daughters, Taylor-Ann, 19, and Hayley, 17. Hayley, an aspiring actress, is the top model for the fashion line Torrid through her contract with Ford Models and Taylor-Ann is a communications major at the University of Arizona. Being a singer has been a dream for both girls.
David says, “It’s the dream of every parent to be able to help their children succeed. I told the girls that I would help them open the door when they are ready, but they would have to walk through it on their own.”

Markice Kesan Moore has been booked and released on $20,000 bail. He was on the Most Wanted List after allegedly beating his 1 year old daughter (details HERE).
In a case like this one, I don’t think bail should be an option. If this guy is guilty of doing this to a baby, his own baby, you can’t give him the opportunity to flee the country and get away with such a heinous crime.

The new reboot of Spider-Man has Marc Webb attached to direct.
Filmmaker Marc Webb has signed on to direct the new Spider-Man film, after the departure of Sam Raimi from the blockbuster superhero franchise.
Webb was behind one of 2009′s sleeper hits (500) Days Of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Gordon-Levitt is one of a crop of actors whose names have been connected with the Spider-Man role since Tobey Maguire announced he was quitting.
The fourth instalment will focus on the superhero’s early years.
The studio has to move fast to get this project going if they want to make the Summer 2012 release that they’ve promised the public. A big surprise is that the budget is being projected at a mere $80 million! The first Spider-Man film was made for $140 million and the last two were way more than that! It will be interesting to see how this one comes out.

Looks cool, but we’ve seen the lightcycles before. I really hope the script for this movie is exceptionally good, it has such potential for being a failure after all these years.

Brooke Mueller has been admitted to a hospital in Sherman Oaks, CA and is in the ICU (intensive care unit) where she is being treated.
TMZ reports that she had a temperature of 105 and she could possibly have pneumonia. We will keep you posted on Brooke’s condition.
Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are supposed to be in court in Aspen on Friday for their hearing. That won’t be happening and to make matters worse, Charlie can’t even call or visit Brooke in the hospital!
