Emma Watson is trying her hand at something new.  She’s got the actress thing down to be sure and she’s even got the student concept down….so, what’s next?  Designing clothing People Tree, a fair-trade clothing range.

Emma dishes on this new concept and how passionate she is about the whole project:

You’ve done acting, modelling, and now you’re designing. Is this the future for Emma Watson?

Oh, I don’t have any plans to be a designer. I’m doing this range because I really care about fair-trade and ethical fashion. I’m so pleased that I got involved, but I don’t want to take all the credit for being the designer because I haven’t trained as a designer or even gone to art college – in fact, I had no idea about the amount of work involved at the outset!

So this is not an Emma Watson clothing line?

I didn’t want this collection to be all about me. This is not a celebrity endorsement, it is about creating something that is genuinely a great idea and about making a difference through fashion.

How did the collaboration come about?

It was all because my friend, Alex Nicholls, was wearing this great People Tree T-shirt one day, which I liked. He then told me all about the company – he knows Safia and said that I should meet her. He set up an introduction and Safia and I just clicked. A couple of weeks later she got in touch with the idea of a teen range – they were doing older ranges and baby clothes but nothing in between – and asked if I’d like to help put it together. I said yes straight away.

How realistic is it that the Primark generation will buy into this range and concept?

It sounds like a cliché, but we are the future. The earth is ours and will be our children’s, and I think that more than any other generation we are aware of environmental and humanitarian issues. That’s why it’s so great that People Tree is doing something aimed at people of my age – because we do care and we will buy with a conscience. I hope that more companies will follow People Tree’s example.

Survivor Gabon cast member (6th place) and Olympic relay team member Crystal Cox is about to lose her gold medal for her part in the 4×400 meter relay during the 2004 Athens summer Olympics.  Cox has fully admitted to using anabolic steroids.

Cox will be suspended for four years and will have all of the results from 2001 to 2004 stripped.

The AP reports that she “admitted to using anabolic steroids and agreed to the penalty Friday, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said,” and “almost certainly will have her gold medal stripped.”

Cox not only screwed herself over, but her teammates as well.

USADA CEO Travis Tygart told the AP, “You’ve got to give her credit for accepting responsibility. But hopefully this sends a strong message that if you’re going to succumb to the temptation, you have to remember the terrible position you’re putting your teammates in.”

Apparently Crystal Cox didn’t use any steroids for her time on Survivor Gabon.  She was awful!  She sucked at everything physical and was frankly quite embarrassing! Another athlete bringing shame on America.  Geez…..

Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron just won the 2010 Miss America crown after singing Beyonce’s “Listen” and reaching out to kids and telling them they should go outside more often.

Caressa Cameron won a $50,000 scholarship and the crown in Las Vegas after beating 52 other contestants.

Caressa Cameron is a 22-year-old from Fredericksburg, VA. and  is a broadcast journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University, and wants to become an anchor.

Miss California Kristy Cavinder was the first runner-up, winning $25,000.

Survivor is reaching it’s 10th anniversary and we are being treated with an amazing all-star season, Heroes VS Villains (trailer here, full cast list here) and I can hardly wait.  Some other people are celebrating this occasion with a look back at the nudity and naughty pics that have come from some of our ‘favorite’ Survivors.

More MTV stars have fallen for each other. Jersey Shore’s Pauly D (Paul Delvecchio) is dating Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham, according to FOX411.com.

Pauly D was deejaying at a club in Houston, Texas and Farrah was there at his side looking cozy together.  This is the same teen mom involved in the scandal where her mother, Debra Danielson, was arrested for allegedly choking and hitting her.

This could make for a very interesting couple, ya think?  Looks like we will see some romance between these two on Jersey Shore season 2….  Stay tuned!

Miley Cyrus has inspired her little sister, Noah Cyrus to start a clothing line.  Miley’s is at Walmart.  Noah’s will be launched at Fred Segal.  Little Noah is doing this line with her BFF, Emily Grace Reaves and Ooh! La, La! Couture. The line will be called the Emily Grace Collection.  I think that’s odd since Noah has more ‘fame’ behind her.  Shouldn’t she get part of the tag line? Nonetheless,  both of the girls will wear their respective designs on their YouTube series Noie & Ems, touring with Miley, and of course, on the red carpet.

“Emily is launching the clothing line along with her BFF and costar Noah Cyrus,” the press release states. And the pieces promise to have a “trendy, sweet, yet edgy feel.”

The Emily Grace Collection will launch at Fred Segal on Valentine’s Day.  Aww, how sweet. Now will this line be a hit or miss?

Leonardo DiCaprio, Edward Norton, Chace Crawford, Jason Bateman and so many others in Hollywood have teamed up on web video campaign urging Congress to pass the first-ever climate and clean-energy bill.  “This Is Our Moment” was made by the NRDC Action Fund for which Leonardo is a trustee.
