The newest Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will set sail without Orlando Bloom.

During the Sundance Film Festival, Orlando talked with MTV News. When they asked if was going to be a part of the fourth installment, he replied, “No, definitely not.”

But it’s a movie franchise Bloom will certainly miss. “I had a great time making those movies,” he said. “I just really wanted to do different things, but I think it’s going to be great. Whatever Johnny does, I think it’s fantastic.”

Orlando also had great things to say about director Rob Marshall, who is helming the next Pirates. “I think he’s an amazing director,” Bloom said of Marshall. “I think it will be a very interesting fit, because Johnny is musical anyway and I’m sure that something really beautiful will come out of it.”

This movie is certainly going to seem off without Bloom involved, hopefully Keira Knightley will sign on.

Apple has unveiled their brand new iPad today which will let you bring HD movies with you on the go. Not to mention the plethora of other features the revolutionary new product will offer.

As unveiled by Apple top dog Steve Jobs at the company’s press conference in San Francisco, the iPad is a tablet computer that’s essentially an oversize, souped-up version of the iPod Touch or iPhone. It also comes with a whole host of news features that offer consumers fresh ways to consume video, from HD movies to full-screen YouTube clips to web footage on The New York TimesWeb site. The intention is that it’ll now be just as easy to go where no man has gone before with “Star Trek” as it has been to rock out with Gaga’s “Poker Face.”

With a 9.7-inch touch-screen display and a battery life of 10 hours, the iPad will offer the most robust viewing experience yet available on an Apple mobile device. Ranging from 16GB to 64GB in storage size and $499 to $829 in price, you can now carry far more video than previously possible and play that video for far longer than ever before. However, viewed in landscape mode, widescreen movies on the iPad only take up about half of the screen’s display. Reformatted movies, conversely, take up the entire screen — and the tablet is basically all screen, as there’s just one button and a thin strip of black framing the device.

Apple has been quietly building its HD movie catalog for a while and the iPad seems positioned to take advantage of that increased selection — iTunes now boasts thousands of downloadable movies and TV shows. When it comes to HD, you’ll also be able to watch YouTube clips in top-notch quality. The new YouTube app allows for easy visual organization of clips that automatically play in full screen when in landscape mode.

This is a big announcement in the consumer electronics world, and this is just the beginning. This is going to be a great new generation of technology. Movies have never looked this good on the go! But for the record, I think they could have gotten a little more creative with the name.

Michael Douglas’ son pled guilty today in a Manhattan federal court to two felony drug charges reports TMZ. Cameron Douglas will face a minimum of 10 years in prison for one count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and one count of possession of heroin. (Details here.)

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the controlled substances involved in the first count were “500 grams and more of mixtures and substances containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine” and “five kilograms and more of mixtures and substances containing a detectable amount of cocaine.”

This has got to be very difficult for Michael Douglas and the rest of the family.  You never want to see you child like this.

Will Ferrell is a daddy again!   His gorgeous wife, Viveca Paulin gave birth to their third son on Saturday morning. (Jan 23) in Los Angeles.

His name is Axel Ferrell.  His big brothers Magnus (5) and Mattias (3) are very excited for their new brother’s arrival.

Since we already know who wins this season of The Bachelor, we know that Tenley Molzahn won’ tbe going home with Jake Pavelka in the end.  She is the sweetest thing, who got hosed by her lame @ss husband and deserves a good man.  In fact, she deserves 25 men falling for her and that’s just what she’s going to get.

So where did I get the scoop?  From DeAnna Pappas!  Yes, she somewhat confirmed my suspicions on her Twitter,

“I heard that she will be the Next Bachelorette. Pure rumor though….I have no truth to back it up.”

Of course this hasn’t been officially announced yet because ABC wouldn’t spoil the current season.  But it’s the truth.  Tenley Molzahn will be the next Bachelorette.  I am very excited.  I love her and I think she is the BEST choice. Thank God it’s not Ali.  I loved her at the beginning.  But she has turned out way too bitchy and superior.  Not feeling her anymore.

Congrats to Tenley!  You deserve it girly!  You are going to find a GREAT guy who deserves you and I can’t wait to watch it all happen!

Alicia Keys and her man Swizz Beatz are engaged according to Us Weekly.  The happy couple is trying to keep this engagement on the down low for now, but a big mouthed friend has revealed,

“They are currently in Hawaii celebrating the engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed.  She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album, The Element of Freedom.”

Since we already heard about the fabulous penthouse Alicia and Swizz are buying, we knew this ring was on it’s way.  Congrats to the very happy couple!

It’s been almost a year since we have seen David Henrie (Wizards Of Waverly Place) do something naughty.  His partying days in Mexico (pics here) are in the past.  Now he’s got new pictures that have fans and the parents of his fans all upset.

David Henrie has a doting fan on Twitter (Amber Asaly) that posted pictures of him giving her an autograph, on her boob!  Yes, boobie autographs have been around forever.  Just not for Disney stars.

I am not sure how this will all go down with the Disney execs, but you can be sure they aren’t to happy with the negative PR.

Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller has checked into a North Carolina drug and alcohol treatment center reports TMZ.  Brooke and her mom took a private jet to Elizabeth City Regional Airport in North Carolina yesterday.

Her plans are to be there for a week to get her alcohol abuse issue under control.  This abuse is what caused her to catch pneumonia.  All that alcohol weakened her immune system.

This whole Sheen-Mueller case keeps getting worse and I don’t think that one week in rehab is going to fix anything.
