Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks covers this week’s New York Magazine.  This is the Spring Fashion issue, and Christina was selected to model the season’s “lingerie-as-outerwear trend.”  She shows off her voluptuous curves in a vintage bustier from her own collection and panties by Conturelle.

Speaking of her figure, she’s a little tired of talking about it.

“It kind of hurt my feelings at first. Anytime someone talks about your figure constantly, you get nervous, you get really self-conscious. I was working my butt off on the show, and then all anyone was talking about was my body!”

Which I find interesting, because Christina used to be a print and runway model.  I would think you’d get used to a certain level of body obsession in that field.  However, she doesn’t let it get to her.

“It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  Back when I was modeling, if someone said ‘I’m fasting,’ I would say, ‘Can’t we talk about something else?’”

You go, girl!  You’re perfect just the way you are!
