The first seven finalists for 2010’s American Idol season 9 were revealed last night.  One of my favorite girls, Didi Benami was one of the lucky ones.  She has a moving story about her best friend that passed away and she is doing all of this for her.

Great news for Dark Knight fans, Christopher Nolan has confirmed he’s doing the next film and it could be out as early as next year!

A third Batman film has been confirmed.

Chris Nolan revealed the superhero movie was in the beginning stages of creation while in an interview with the New York Times, following rumours his brother Jonah and David Goyerm were working on the script.

Discussing Jeff Robinov, the Warner Brothers president, ‘The Dark Knight’ director Chris said: “He is trying not to cling to the things that have worked in the past.”

As yet no casting details have been confirmed, and it is unknown if Christian Bale will return as the caped superhero.

I doubt it will make it out before 2012 but at least it’s happening. Christian Bale is sure to sign back on for a third film, I’ll keep you posted with every piece of info I find for this one.

Alexander McQueen’s death has been determined to be be a suicide after the coroner completed his investigation and a suicide note had been found and is  ”being looked at by police.”

Lady Gaga Pays Tribute To Alexander McQueen

The police are now saying that McQueen’s death is “non-suspicious,” reports TMZ.

The full post-mortem report will be completed by April, not that there is much else to have answered.

The first seven finalists for 2010′s American Idol season 9 were revealed last night.  The first of the night to get through to the Top 24 was a great guy, Michael ‘Big Mike’ Lynche.  He’s the guy who helped his wife through labor over the phone before doing his group performance on the show.  He’s got such a big heart and GREAT chops.  Unfortunately, Big Mike was cut after he made the Top 24 (details here), you will see this later in the show.

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming Forgetting Sara Marshall spin-off comedy Get Him to the Greek starring Russell Brand.

This doesn’t look half as funny as Forgetting Sara Marshall was, but it’s the same director. I’m hoping it’s funnier than it looks from the trailer.

Scorsese and De Niro last worked together on Casino back in 1995 but it looks like they will be back together again soon for a new film.

Martin Scorsese is keen to revive a cinematic partnership with Robert De Niro that goes back to “Mean Streets” nearly 40 years ago and says the project will be related to the mobster world….

…”Bob De Niro (and I) are talking about something that has to do with that world,” Scorsese told reporters after a press screening of Shutter Island, where the audience reaction was decidedly muted.

“There’s no doubt about that. We’re working on something like that, but it’s from the vantage point of older men looking back, none of this running around stuff.”

Rumors that Scorsese may be reviving one of film’s most successful collaborations have been rife for years, as fans look back with nostalgia to classics such as “Raging Bull,” “Taxi Driver” and “Cape Fear.”

Its about time these guys worked together again, they obviously create movie magic as a team. Bring on a new classic!

Megan Fox is W‘s cover girl this month.  Why they have her dressed as the slutty office temp I am not entirely sure.  Here are some highlights from her boring-ass interview.

She claims she is extremely nervous about her acting skills.  “I have no confidence, and because of that I’m always second-guessing myself.”   What, with all that sexual confidence?

Megan also says she is “intimidated by fashion” and “hates doing photo shoots.”  Oh.  Well, what about her work with her new employer, Emporio Armani?

“There are some women you could put in underwear and photograph them, and it looks really classy and it doesn’t necessarily provoke a pinup image. But with me it does, immediately, as soon as I’m in underwear. I’m a Vargas girl.”

And then she reiterates something she pretty much said back in September 2008:

“I especially don’t trust girls in this industry, because it’s incredibly competitive, and I’m just not interested.”

But hey!  At least she didn’t talk about how totally hot she is, and how much she enjoys sex.  For a change.

What do you get when you combine a large white lampshade, a Marie Antoinette wig, and a lace mask?   Normally at this time of year, I’d say you’ve got yourself a Mardi Gras costume.  But no.  It’s what Lady Gaga wore to the BRIT Awards.

Under all that pleated sateen, in which she resembles nothing more than a giant marshmallow, she rocked a one-legged lace body suit.

Now this garment is just a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. But look how happy she is with her three awards!  Gaga was the big winner of the night, winning all three awards for which she was nominated.
