Pamela Anderson Joins Dancing With The Stars Season 10

So Karina is back.  Are you glad or were you happy she left?  I’m just wondering why people quit in the first place.  They make a big deal about leaving and then five minutes later, they are making a huge deal about their return.

The cast of Dancing with the Stars will be announced on March 1st, and the season will begin on March 22nd.  I just hope it’s better than last season! PLEASE!

’24′ Movie is Coming

24 Jack

The popular TV show 24 will soon be a feature film. The funny thing is, the show hasn’t ended yet.

Twentieth Century Fox‘s film division is scooping up its hit TV series, “24,” starring Kiefer Sutherland as the no-nonsense enemy to terrorists everywhere, and gunning to spin it off into a potential feature film franchise, Variety reported.

Screenwriter Bill Ray (“State of Play”) is maneuvering to send Bauer to Europe, and has been endorsed by Sutherland, according to intelligence reports.

It could take a long time, however, for “24″ to go into production, since the producers and cast are currently filming the eighth season of the show, and a ninth season is still a possibility. Fox insiders told Variety that a decision on renewing “24″ for another season could be based on ratings out this week.

It’s really one of those franchises that will keep making money as long as it can, so if they can go another couple of seasons I’m sure they will. It’s just a matter of time before they finally get to shooting the movie.

Tom Cruise Officially Confirmed for ‘Mission: Impossible IV’

Tom Cruise Mission: Impossible III

Tom Cruise has officially signed on for Mission: Impossible IV, the movie is finally moving forward.

Paramount Pictures announced today that it is making Mission: Impossible IV. The film, which will be produced by Tom Cruise, J.J. Abrams (Star Trek) and Bad Robot Productions and will star Cruise, will be released Memorial Day weekend 2011.

“Tom and J.J. are great talents and we are excited to be working with them to re-launch this legendary franchise,” said Paramount Pictures Chairman & CEO Brad Grey.

Screenwriters Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec are attached to write the script, from an original idea by Cruise and Abrams.

The studio, Cruise and Abrams are in now the process of identifying a director for the film. Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible” franchise has grossed over 1.4 billion globally.

This is good news for fans of the series, I don’t have a clue where they could take the next film, but hopefully it will be something that feels somewhat original. And I hope J.J. Abrams decides to direct this one, unless he’s too busy planning for Star Trek 2.

Anne Hathaway Is Perfect In Purple For InStyle March 2010

Anne Hathaway Covers InStyle March 2010

Anne Hathaway looks absolutely incredible and radiant on the cover of March 2010′s InStyle – just like a yummy, fizzy grape soda.  She dishes on beauty and fashion and thinking she’s not pretty?  Huh??

On her self-image:

“I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head.  But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up. It’s my face. I’m not very pretty. But that’s OK because I do know that I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.”

On staying fit:

“If I don’t work out at all, I have too much curve and no tone—which is not OK. It’s about finding balance.”

On dressing up – or down:

“In the evening it would never occur to me to go out in motorcycle boots like [the pair she wore to the interview].  I love going out in high heels and dressing up and glamming it up, and having there be a distinction between what happened throughout the day and the evening.”

The issue hits newsstands this Friday.

Taylor Swift Buys $2M Condo In Nashville

Taylor Swift 3

Grammy winner Taylor Swift is putting down roots in “her favorite city in the world.”  She’s bought a swank penthouse in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer’s new digs in the Adelicia development is huge:  just three bedrooms, but over 4,000 square feet.   She says she’s “excited” about her new place, which is described as “high-tech” in a complex that features “24-hour concierge service [and] tight security.”

Sounds like Taylor’s not letting awards and fancy pants houses go to her head, though.  She says:

“I love Target and Walmart — I find the coolest things there.”

She better love Walmart, considering they carry her clothing line!  Congrats on the new home, Taylor.

Bruce Willis: Wolf Killer

Bruce Willis Attends The Premiere of 'Surrogates'

Bruce Willis has played a lot of tough guys in his career, and it may have finally gone to his head.   He has offered the following über-manly advice to readers of Men’s Journal unfortunate enough to be attacked by a wolf:

“give the wolf your arm…You’ve got to lean into it, stick your arm all the way down his throat. He can’t swallow it because he’s gagging on your arm. You reach in, you grab a handful of something – guts, the back of its throat, whatever you can hold – and pull it out.   And try to avoid those claws while you’re doing it.”

Because this happens all the time.

PETA should be going after him any minute now.  I wonder if this technique works on wild animal rights activists too?

Tim Robbins Joins the Cast of ‘The Green Lantern’

Tim RobbinsGreen Lantern Logo

Tim Robbins has signed on with the new comic book film The Green Lantern.

Tim Robbins is joining the cast of “Green Lantern,” the Martin Campbell-directed tentpole at Warner Bros. that’s based on the DC Comics superhero.

Robbins will play Senator Hammond, the disapproving father of the movie’s villain, Dr. Hector Hammond (Peter Sarsgaard), who becomes infused with psychic powers.

Ryan Reynolds stars as Green Lantern, with Blake Lively as the hero’s love interest, Carol Ferris.

The movie is cruising to a March start in New Orleans. Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti are producing.

This movie has a lot of potential given all the talent lined up for it, I just hope it’s not too campy. This is some seriously high-concept stuff, tough to bring to the screen without people bursting into laughter when you don’t want them to.

Monstrous New ‘Clash of the Titans’ Poster Boasts 3D

Clash of the Titans Poster

Here’s the newest poster for the upcoming film Clash of The Titans which is now officially going to be released in 3D.

This doesn’t look like super-intelligent filmmaking, but it certainly looks like a good time at the movies. Monsters and sword fights with a dash of mythology? Count me in!
