Nancy Kerrigan’s father’s [Daniel Kerrigan] death (details here) was ruled a homicide today, reports ESPN.
The autopsy report released Tuesday by Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said the elder Kerrigan also had underlying health conditions, including high blood pressure and clogged heart arteries.
“As a result of these conclusions of the medical examiner, the investigation into Daniel Kerrigan’s death, and whether any charges in connection with his death are appropriate, remains ongoing,” Leone said in a statement.
The findings imply a strangulation-type injury in a man already weakened by high blood pressure and clogged heart arteries, said an expert not connected with the autopsy, Dr. Ian Paul, associate medical examiner for the state of New Mexico.
“The assault itself would have caused significant physiological stress,” Paul said. “It would have put direct stress to the heart itself because the heart is working faster, and in somebody with underlying heart disease, they would be at a much greater risk of experiencing sudden cardiac death.”
So it looks like Nancy’s brother Mark Kerrigan could face new charges in the death of Daniel Kerrigan. Stay tuned for the latest details.

Don’t expect to catch any boobie shots during the New Orleans Saints’ Super Bowl Victory Parade today! There is no boob flashing allowed.
According to TMZ, there will be 600 cops down in the French Quarted to patrol the big party. Anyone caught flashing for beads or the like will be busted and possibly go to jail! Yikes!
There are going to be around 250,000 fans out there! Good luck to the 600 cops trying to control that crowd. This parade will be on TV world wide. They better get the fuzzed out patched ready! The parade starts at about 5 PM.
The floats will roll south on Poydras toward the river, and then take a right on Loyola. The procession will then roll left on to Howard Avenue, around Lee Circle, and on to St. Charles Avenue.
After rolling down St. Charles, the parade will turn left on to Canal Street, then make a U-turn on Canal at North Rampart.
The floats will then head back down Canal to Tchopitoulas, take a right on to Convention Center Boulevard, before disbanding at Mardi Gras World.

Rihanna is done shooting her latest music video. This one is returning to her Caribbean roots for Rude Boy. The outfits are outrageous and racy. RiRi isn’t one to leave much of anything to the imagination.
Rihanna talks about the video,
“A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough. Rude Boy is more playing along the lines from my roots. We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dancehall queen type.”
Get ready for another wild ride with Rihanna when the official Rude Boy music video is released Wednesday (Feb 11.)

Blu-ray is the new standard, DVD is on its way out and every week they are releasing many films on the relatively new format. Here’s the full list of Blu-ray movies out this week on February 9th, 2010.
Not a lot of great stuff on the list this week. Obvious popular releases are The Time Traveler’s Wife and Couple’s Retreat. The only thing I’m interested in seeing this week is the Oscar Nominated film A Serious Man from the Coen brothers.

Super Bowl XLIV was the most watched television program in U.S. history with over 106.5 million viewers! Here’s the trailer for Prince of Persia that was shown during the game!
This movie looks like it’s a total popcorn flick. I’m looking forward to seeing this regardless of the high probability of it being bad. In any case it looks like a lot of great visuals and fun.
