Super Bowl XLIV was the most watched television program in U.S. history with over 106.5 million viewers! Here’s the trailer for The Crazies that was shown during the game!
While this movie doesn’t look all that good, this TV spot was pretty effective. I’m still not planning to see this one, but I’m sure a lot of people are.

The new romance Dear John was the first film since Avatar‘s release 8 weeks ago to overtake it’s #1 slot in the weekend (February 5-7, 2010 ) box office. Dear John took in a solid $32.4 million with Avatar taking second at $23.6 million. From Paris With Love took Slot #3 with $8.1 million and Crazy Heart opened at $3.6 million in slot #8.

Yes, Taylor Lautner star of The Twilight Saga is set to star as Stretch Armstrong in the upcoming 3D film.
Taylor Lautner has signed on to star in “Stretch Armstrong,” Universal’s movie based on the Hasbro toy.
The studio is also making the movie in 3D, which will push back the release date of the movie from May 15, 2011 to some time in 2012.
The story developed for the movie, being produced by Imagine and Hasbro, sees an uptight spy who stumbles across a stretching formula, which he takes and must now adjust to in everyday life and when fighting crime.
Wow, doesn’t sound like much more than a saturday morning cartoon plot, but I guess thats all Hasbro needs for their movies (G.I. Joe for example). Lautner is now set to play a spy-type character in two movies, he’s already doing a movie called Cancun in which he’ll supposedly be showing off his martial arts skills, and now Stretch Armstrong.

During the Super Bowl last night, there was a ballsy onside kick call made by the New Orleans Saints to start the second half, that was the highlight of the game for me. LOVED IT!
BUT, the one person who will forever be haunted by that call will be Kendra Wilkinson’s husband, Hank Baskett. He dropped the ball and in a sense, the game. Colts lose. Kendra doesn’t get to give Hank all that victory sex she promised him. Just look at her broken face. Poor girl. Well, there’s always sympathy sex, right?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were at the Super Bowl last night for more than just football. From the looks of it, they were on a mission to set the record straight about the relationship.
I guess that sucking face for the cameras is one way to clear the air! Oh, and they are suing News of the World for writing that breaking story about their failed relationship.
Fine. Brangelina is still going strong. I concede.

The L.A. County Coroner’s report regarding the death of Michael Jackson has just been released. The bottom line, Propofol killed Michael Jackson.
TMZ reports, the manner of death is homicide and the conclusion is based on the following 4 items:
1. Circumstances indicate the Propofol and the benzodiazepines were administered by another.
2. Propofol was administered in a non-hospital setting without any appropriate medical indication.
3. The standard of care for administering Propofol was not met. Recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing and resuscitation was not present.
4. The circumstances do not support self-administration of Propofol.
Hopefully this will be the beginning of closure for the Jackson family as Dr. Conrad Murray on charges of has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. Read the details at Bumpshack.com

I will admit that I haven’t watched The Amazing Race since Boston Rob and Amber from Survivor were on. Now I will be watching this (actually really good) show again now that Big Brother’s Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder are one of the teams.
This extremely cute couple that found each other in the Big Brother house are still going strong and are taking on a crazy, all over the globe race.
“We thought we were going to coast through it like BB, you know, like ‘oh we never saw this before’ and Jordan is like, ‘I never watched BB so I can do this, too,’” Schroeder tells EW. “But it’s a totally different game.”
So will cute little Jordan be able to handle the insane intensity of The Amazing Race?
“I don’t like to work out. Everybody knows that. If I work out one day, I want to see results and so yeah I was worried,” she says. “Though I was more so worried about having to eat a bug or something. I would rather Jeff eat a bug than me.”
We will get to to Jeff and JOrdan have their little lover’s spats during the big race that have only made them stronger,
“To throw a couple into a stressful situation like this, you are going to see different sides to both people,” says Schroeder. “We definitely didn’t stray from who we are. We got along, we got through it and we’re still together. It made us stronger, I think.”
The happy couple is trying to figure out living arrangements. Jordan is back home in SC and Jeff is in the Windy City.
“This is the longest we’ve gone without being together,” says Schroeder. “One of us has to move … I’m not saying anyone’s getting engaged though, anything like that.”
Come on Jeff, you know she’s your soulmate! GO FOR IT!

Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan parted ways but then found their way back together in the music studio. Billy is recording the theme song for Jessica’s reality show, The Price of Beauty.
“Billy plays guitar, and Jessica’s written and performed the lyrics,” a VH1 insider confirms to Life & Style exclusively. “It’s cute that they came up with the idea together.”
Jessica’s new reality show kicks off on March 15 at 10 p.m. on VH1, so listen up for Billy’s song!
