Apparently there’s a Gunsmoke movie in the works and two of the top names for the lead role are Brad Pitt and Ryan Reynolds.

The job of Dodge City peacekeeper is proving to be one of the most desirable assignments around.

Several top-flight actors are in the running to play Marshal Matt Dillon, the lead lawman in CBS Films’ big-screen adaptation of the classic Western television show “Gunsmoke” that starred James Arness.

Brad Pitt has emerged as a top contender for the role, with Ryan Reynolds also a candidate for the juicy, gunslinging part.

As incarnated first on the mid-century radio serial and later in the CBS prime-time hit, Dillon is the Western hero charged with maintaining law and order in a period Kansas town filled with colorful vagrants, misfits and desperadoes. He carries on in these adventures with the help of town physician Doc Adams and tavern owner Miss Kitty Russell.

This isn’t the most exciting sounding project to me. I’m not a big fan of westerns nowadays, it just seems like it’s all been done already. If there’s an amazing script for the film, thats one thing, but if it’s just another TV to film moneymaker you can count me out.

This movie certainly looks colorful, but this little preview doesn’t give us much in terms of what the story is about. Thanksgiving is still a while away, but this is obviously going to be a big holiday movie.

If you have been wondering why Madonna keeps that youthful look and seems to stay really healthy, Marie Claire UK has the answer!  Madonna has started drinking Brazilian coconut water.  Her now ex-boyfriend Jesus Luz gave her a taste and now she’s hooked.  In fact, Madonna has reportedly invested $1.5 million dollars in Vita Coco.

Vita Coco is a coconut water drink that detoxifies and has many anti-ageing benefits.  Madonna started chugging down the Vita Coco last year while on tour and now she’s always got some on hand. Madonna isn’t the only one hooked, Demi Moore and Matthew McConaughey are also invested in the company and you know how healthy those two are!

“Madonna has a team of specialists around her including doctors, chiropractors and other people who could confirm that it’s a healthy choice,” said an insider. “Before Vita Coco, she was drinking a lot of coffee and having special brands shipped to her on the tour.”

Okay, I am going to have to go and get myself a bottle of this miracle Vita Coco!  Who’s with me?

Anne appears in this month’s issue of British GQ looking sultry, sexy, and full of kissing tips,

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is about to commit TV suicide.   Christopher Meloni is talking about leaving SVU and um, that’s unacceptable!

E! reports that Meloni is saying,

“I think 12 years is enough, a good number…The writers will have fertile ground to figure out how to arc [Elliot Stabler] out to another place—whether it’s this world or the next.”

Up next Christopher Meloni wants to do movies and theater.  I get that but, can yo imagine SVU without Meloni?  Thankfully, Mariska Hargitay isn’t going anywhere.

Kirsten Dunst is no longer  Spidey love interest, MJ. So she’s taken her cute self down to Sin City when she partied hard with pals and gave a little impromptu stage dance for the crowd.  I am a huge Dunst fan, I think she’s great……. but, I really wish she’d drop the smokes.  Miss Dunst was lighting up Las Vegas like it was her last day on earth.  I know smoking and drinking often go together, but Kirsten is just too beautiful to destroy her youthful look for smokes!  I’m just sayin…

CEO of AshleyMadison.com is really angry that CBS won’t air their naughty ads during Super Bowl XLIV.  The website is one that’s sells affairs for marriage.  Um, yeah.  Their slogan is, “Life Is Short, Have An Affair”…can you imagine the outrage if CBS did air that?! Kids watch the Super Bowl!

Miley Cyrus hit the studio with her new puppy, Mate.  Yes, the puppy go this Austalian name thanks to Miley’s current love interest, Liam Hemsworth.

Miss Cyrus was looking rather ragged as she got out of her car.  I don’ think I’ve ever seen Miley anything but great! Poor girl needs some sleep!  Take a break Miley!  You’ve earned it!
