This is literally just a spliced version of the first 2 posters they released, not too exciting. At least its something for the anxious fans to set as their wallpaper.

Okay.  First of all, I just want to point out that American Idol producers are showing just how desperate they are by this ‘play.’  Last time I checked, American Idol was a family friendly show. Howard Stern is anything but family friendly.  But, according to Page Six, American Idol producers are eager to hire Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell on the judge’s panel.

Stern’s radio contract is going to expire and he’s looking for a new gig.  One source told Page Six, “It’s one of the few shows that could compete with Stern’s $100 million-a-year Sirius contract, and ‘Idol’ bosses think he’d be even nastier than Simon.  They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants. ‘Idol’ will do what it takes to sign him.”

Howard Stern of course wants to play hard ball and perhaps do both jobs,

“Despite what he’s been saying on-air, Howard isn’t ready to leave radio and would like to stay on at Sirius,” the source said. “We believe this is a ploy to make Sirius pay up and keep him on his huge contract. But if Sirius can’t pay him the money he wants, he may negotiate to film ‘Idol’ on the side.”

FOX hasn’t commented yet.  But I sure we will be getting the news soon.  Stay tuned.

Nicci Nix auditioned on American Idol this week claiming to be arriving from a 14 hour flight from Italy.  She had a horribly high pitched voice, can you say chipmunks?  But, when she sang, she wasn’t too bad.  She got her Golden Ticket.

Well, come to find out.  Nicci Nix is a big liar.  She has appeared on at least four other reality shows, “Fear Factor”, “Next”, “Making the Band” and “Date My Mom.”

When Nicci Nix was on  ”Fear Factor”, she went by another name, Nicci Palmeri, said she was California and had NO accent.

Here’s the fresh new teaser trailer and poster for the very long awaited sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps with Shia Lebeouf and Michael Douglas.

Looks like it could be pretty good, but what is it about? Not a lot to be seen in this trailer other than knowing that Gordon Gekko is back.

The Director’s Guild of America has awarded Katherine Bigelow‘s film The Hurt Locker their highest honor. No female director has ever won the DGA Award!

In an historic win, Kathryn Bigelow and her tense Iraq War drama ”The Hurt Locker” from Summit Entertainment copped the DGA Award for best-directed feature film Saturday.

The win drew cheers from a packed ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, where throughout the night it was clear many were pulling for Bigelow to deliver a dramatic victory for female filmmakers. The DGA feature film win was a first-ever by a woman.

“This is the most incredible moment of my life,” Bigelow said.

Great news for female directors, good to see her rewarded for the film. If you haven’t seen The Hurt Locker, I highly suggest you rent it. She really deserved the award.

A Florida woman is accusing NFL Hall-of-Famer Michael Irvin of sexual assault.  The alleged rape took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on July 4th or 5th back in 2007.

The woman claims that Michael Irvin got her drunk, then lured her to his hotel room where he and another man tried stuffing money into her clothes, Bumpshack.com reports.

Michael Irvin and the other guy insisted on sexual favors, she said no. Irvin’s ‘friend’ then held her down and covered her mouth, and then Irvin raped her.  Then the woman claims that when Michael Irvin was done raping her, the other man forced her to perform oral sex.

The woman has filed a civil suit in Florida’s Broward County.   The local district attorney is currently investigating the claim.

Michael Irvin’s lawyer, Larry Friedman, has denied the charges and described them as “totally untrue.”

Michael Irvin is in Miami for coverage of the Super Bowl.  This is going to get a lot of press.

For The Love of Ray J star, Danger (Monica Leon) is under a 72 hour watch after the police began an arson investigation.   Someone in Danger’s apartment complex in Hollywood called 911 this afternoon at the L.A. City Fire Dept.  When the cops arrived, the fire was out but the arson investigators searched the scene.

Whatever they found prompted the 72 hour watch.  Monica has been very unstable.  Even been on a psychiatric hold, shaved her head,  and lost her baby girl since her time on For The Love of Ray J.

Was Danger trying to kill herself or just get attention by setting her home on fire?

Here’s the fresh new trailer for the upcoming Roman Polanski film The Ghost Writer starring Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan and Kim Cattrall.

This looks like it’s going to be a good movie, but I pretty much expect it to be, given it’s a Roman Polanski film. It’s strange seeing Kim Cattrall in this trailer with the accent, she does it so well it didn’t even click right away that it was her.

Here’s the new trailer for the upcoming film The Losers starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba and Columbus Short.

This movie looks like a lot of fast paced action and fun, I really hope it lives up to it’s potential. Great group of actors in this film, but Zoe Saldana is definitely the highlight for me.

When the announcement of the nominees for Best Animated Feature were announced for the 2010 Oscars, I was surprised by a film called The Secret of Kells. I’d never heard of it before but here’s an extended preview, take a look!

This looks really good, such a cool looking animated film. Seems like a good story and a splendid 2D experience. I’m definitely going to go check this out when it hits theaters in March.
