Charlie Sheen is being charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault for the Christmas Day debacle with his wife, Brooke Mueller.

The charges are to be filed by Monday morning, when Charlie Sheen will appear in court for  his arraignment.   Then oddly enough, Brooke and Charlie’s lawyers are going to try and get the protective order released so they can see each other and Charlie can see he boys.

If you’re not a big fan of football, you know you still like to watch the Super Bowl for the comedic commercials and usually a pretty stellar half-time show. This year, Super Bowl XLIV is promising to produce a great game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints. It is also going to put up some great, and very expensive ads. Ranging from $2.5 million to $2.8 million per spot, the ad execs are putting up the big bucks 30 second spots.

Brittany Murphy should be alive today.  She needed to be treated by a doctor, yet no one took her.  She’d be alive today if the doctors had a chance to save her, to treat her for her illnesses.  TMZ is reporting that the primary causes of Brittany Murphy’s death were pneumonia and severe anemia. L.A. County Coroner officials believe Brittany’s condition was “treatable” but no one took her to the hospital in time to save her life.  They said Brittany Murphy’s death was caused by a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and “multiple drug intoxication.”

The drugs found in her system in the report were both prescription, including medicine for cramps, and over-the-counter medications, including cough syrup. These drugs “pushed her over the line” but the underlying problems were the pneumonia and anemia.

This season of The Bachelor is certainly proving to have a lot of ‘juice’ and drama.  The scandals are abundant and they don’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.  Vienna Girardi seems to be the apple of Jake Pavelka’s eye and the mortal enemy of the women.  The entire public hates Vienna as well.  Why can’t someone be on her side?  I for one tried to be supportive of the girl.  I am a sucker for the underdog, what can I say?

BUT, now that this new, shocking information has surfaced….well, I am joining the crowd and ‘booing’ Vienna Girardi.

Vienna was a dirty, rotten sleeze before The Bachelor.  Vienna cheated on her ex-husband Josh Riley while he was serving in Iraq in the Marine Core.  She hooked up with one of his best friends and took all of his savings  ($5,000) from his bank account to pay for a boob job.

So where is this new dirt on Vienna coming from?  Her ex-mother-in-law, Gale Riley.

“She took every bit of his money.  I know that boob job was the first thing she had done.”

Vienna even took all of her ex’s stuff and hid it from the family so that when he returned from Iraq, an injured soldier, he couldn’t even get to his personal belongings!

Josh Riley said that while he was in Iraq, “she slept with one of my buddies I was deployed with … I’m 99 percent sure she cheated on me.  Marrying her was a mistake.”

Um, yeah… ya think?!  Wow. How awful and painful for the guy.  I didn’t think that Vienna was that bad.  But now.  I am shocked.  You have to be pretty heartless to do that to your husband while he is serving his country.  Either that OR there is a whole other side to this story that Vienna hasn’t been able to share YET.

Time will tell.

Carrie Underwood is joining the cast of Soul Surfer.  This is the biopic movie about Bethany Hamilton, the then 13 year old girl who lost her arm to a shark attack while surfing in Hawaii.

Us Weekly reports that Carrie will  play Sarah Hill, a church youth leader. The film starting shooting in Hawaii this week (pics here.)

Soul Surfer also boasts Helen Hunt as Bethany’s mother, Cheri,  Dennis Quaid as Bethany’s father, Tom and AnnaSophia Robb as Bethany.

I can’t wait to see Carrie on the big screen!  Congrats to you girly!

Pamela Anderson has signed on to go Dancing With The Stars for the latest season on ABC.  Since her fashion line, A*Muse was a major fail, Pammy is going to have the extra time to fill.

“Pam is thrilled and so is the show.  She really wanted to do the show and the show thought it was a great idea.”

I just don’t feel too confident in Pamela Anderson’s ability to dance.  Like really dance.  Will be be wasted to whole time?  Will he massive boobs get in the way?  This is going to be very entertaining!  Good thinking ABC, I believe you just boosted the ratings!

Days of Our Lives star, Frances Reid who played Alice Horton for 42 years, has died at the age of 95.  Frances Reid died yesterday (February 3.)

The actress began her career with a small role in 1938 movie Man-Proof, before landing a string of jobs on Broadway.
She was said to have been reluctant to accept the part of Alice in Days of our Lives after an exhausting run on another soap opera – Portia Faces Life in 1954.
But the role made her a household name after the series’ premiere in November 1965 – and eventually earned her a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys in 2004.
Reid made her final appearance on Days of our Lives in December 2007.
She married actor Philip Bourneuf in 1940 and the pair remained together until his death in 1979.

Frances Reid will be truly missed.  I can’t imagine Days of Our Lives without her.  I have been watching most of my life and it’s just so sad.  I know that she lived a good life, lived to a ripe old age, but it’s still a loss.

Avatar has officially surpassed Titanic as the highest grossing movie of all time in the United States. Here’s the list of the highest grossing movies of all time in the domestic market.

This makes Avatar‘s totals domestically and globally, the highest of any movie in history. Nobody thought Titanic could be beaten, but Avatar is still breaking records. I wonder how long it will be before another movie will overtake it? Will it be another 12 years? And will it be another James Cameron film?
