Talks of a sequel to the biggest movie of all time have begun, but it will be some time before we see the release of Avatar 2.

News Corp. is in very early talks with James Cameron about a possible “Avatar” sequel.

Asked about potential “Avatar” sequels, chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch said on his quarterly earnings call Tuesday that the conglomerate is in “very early talks about it.” Director James Cameron “has ideas” for a sequel, he said, adding: “We will be pushing for one.”

But he cautioned analysts not to “hold your breath for an early one” in a possible reference to Cameron projects often taking a long time to come to fruition.

Well its obviously going to happen, but the first Avatar was in development for 15 years, so don’t get too excited about this. Cameron will take his sweet time with Avatar 2, and that’s just fine.

Only 20 people were there to greet Pamela Anderson as she turned up to the Play venue to watch her A*Muse fashion show in Miami last night.  Despite the fact that Pammy brought her enormous breasts along and put them on full display, nip slips and all (pics below), no one seemed to care.

There was only a $25 cover charge to get in to the fashion show, but it seems that Pamela Anderson all but lost her fan base.  I guess we’ve all seen her “stuff” about a million times and we see the way she dresses herself on a daily basis.  SO, why on earth would anyone want to pay money to see that?

Haeley Vaughn is the 16-year old who auditioned for American Idol in Denver this week and said she wants to be one of the only “black country pop” singers around.  She totally impressed the judges singing Carrie Underwood’s “Last Name.”

Jack Nicholson’s daughter, Lorraine Nicholson (19) is hitting the waves for a new movie about surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack.

Soul Surfer is being filmed on the beaches of Hawaii where Lorraine will play best friend, Alana Blanchard, who was with Hamilton on the day a 14ft tiger shark ripped her left arm off  in Kauai.

Hamilton, will be played by Anna Sophia Robb while Sean Brosnan, actor Pierce Brosnan’s son, will play her brother Noah.

Bethany Hamilton will also be in the film, doing a few scenes that only she could do,

“They wanted a one-armed person doing it and that’s not easy to find.  I’m excited about the role.  But it will be intense seeing people playing my family and me.”

I think this is going to be a great film and I can’t wait to see it!  Bethany Hamilton is the bravest chick ever!

It seems that Oprah has to have her hands on everything.  This time it’s reality TV.  While Oprah’s final season (not like she’s going away), the crew will be shooting behind-the-scenes footage of Oprah Winfrey’s 25th season for a weekly reality series, Behind the Scenes: Oprah’s 25th Season.

It will of course air on her new network, OWN.  This is Discovery Health right now, but soon will be all OPRAH. Yay. Discovery said the series will give “a unique glimpse into the lives of the staff and the happenings between a special group of people who over decades have truly become a family” and “explore this rare collection of people by following a core cast of regulars from various departments as they work and navigate the last days of the show.”

Well, I guess this is great news for all of Oprah’s ‘disciples and for the rest of us, it’s just plain annoying.

Lily Allen took a break from Twitter and every other social networking device so she could get focused.  Well, five months have passed and Lily had to get her Twitter fix.

Miss Allen just returned from her tour in Australia where we saw some less than sexy snaps of her (here) and thankfully, Lily looked in the mirror and she’s hitting the gym.

Just got back from aus, and I had a wonderful time. Setting up my new office in London, got some really exciting stuff to share with you. so watch this space x xx x. For now though, I’m off to the gym. Gamers, this is your BIG chance to make the dream job of a lifetime, to be a PlayStation game tester.  Sony PlayStation airing an original competition series that will be broadcast only over the PlayStation Network starting Feb. 18.

‘The Tester‘ will follow “11 avid gamers competing in a series of physical and mental elimination challenges,” and the last person standing will “win an actual job as an official PlayStation game tester along with a $5000 signing bonus,” according to the show’s site. The series is produced by 51 Minds, the production company behind the string of VH1 dating series, and includes Hal Sparks as a judge.
