Avatar in it’s 7th week was still easily the #1 movie at the box office. Mel Gibson‘s new film Edge of Darkness was in second place and When in Rome landed in slot #3. No other openers made it in the top 10. At this pace, Avatar is predicted to beat Titanic as the biggest moneymaker domestically of all time by wednesday.

American Idol’s Randy Jackson spoke with the L.A. Times about his future on the show.  They asked him lots of questions in the interview, but the only one we really care about is this one:

We have a theory that — with Cowell leaving, Paula Abdul being a free agent for now, and (as reported) you signing a three-year extension in 2006 — the original “Idol” dream team could reunite on “The X-Factor.” Care to respond?

“You know, there’s a song by the Fray that I really love. It’s called “Never Say Never.”"

Of course that wasn’t an official announcement by any means.  BUT, I think that Randy Jackson is breaking the ice, and edging his way towards a big announcement later on that he will in fact be leaving American Idol and joining X Factor with Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.

I think I’m in Heaven!  That is how it should be!  Hey Randy, go for it!

Cindy Crawford is now 43 years but you’d never know it to look at her.  This gorgeous model that has graced the covers of oh so many magazines looks beyond amazing for 43 and without any surgery to help her along.  Now she is covering the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar Fashion Issue.

Cindy knows she’s still got the look,

“I think I’m holding together pretty good.”

But, Cindy has tried Botox,

“There’s a doctor here in London who I’ve gone to for Botox.  I did a whole skincare line with him. But I haven’t done Botox for ten years. And I didn’t do collagen, I don’t think.”

Well, Cindy.  Your skincare line must have some magic in it!  You are still a knockout.  In fact, I’d say Cindy Crawford is at her best, right now.

Yeah.  It’s true. Jersey Shore season 2 isn’t going to be Jersey Shore at all.  It’s going to be Miami Beach.  Good grief.  The show is called JERSEY SHORE.  Shouldn’t it be in JERSEY SHORE?  I guess that would make too much sense.

I think that MTV wants the cast to show more skin and the only way to do that is get them in a warmer climate where the bikinis are abundant, 24/7.

MTV’s press release said the cast will “escape the cold Northeast and find themselves in a new destination.”

The Sun-Times Bill Zwecker, who has an unnamed MTV executive as a source, reported that “Los Angeles area communities are also being considered, but Miami Beach is the most likely site.”

I actually think it’s clever and will mostly likely jack up the ratings even more, it’s just a tad ironic.

Victoria Beckham hit the beach in Malibu with her boys, enjoying a little time in the sand and water.  Well, as much fun as Posh Spice is able to have doing something so ‘dirty’ that is.

Bridget Marquardt led the way at The Miss Playboy Club model search at the Playboy Club at Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas last night.  I guess the Grammys aren’t their ‘thing’?

Playboy is looking for more seductive woman to race the pages of their esteemed men’s magazine.  It looks like they found some real winners and well….Bridget looks like she had a great time!
