Top 11 Results – American Idol Sends Home….
Tonight was the first elimination of the 2010 American Idol Top 12. This is where things get serious and where you really have to stay on top of your game each week.
David Cook opened the show with The Rolling Stones‘ ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash‘ and might I just say, David is HOT! I was just telling someone earlier today that David Cook is one of the best things to ever come out of American Idol. I love his voice so much. I am very anxious for his next album!
My girl Orianthi performed midway through the results. Singing ‘According To You‘ she owned the stage and the crowd. This girl is AMAZING! I love seeing the girl power rock the stage. Well done Ori!! Gave me chills!
The bottom three tonight were Paige Miles, Tim Urban, and shockingly Lacey Brown.
Tim Urban was sent to the safe couch. Then Ke$ha took the stage singing ‘Blah, Blah, Blah.’ And that would describe how I felt about her performance.
After the long, drawn out commercial breaks, etc.. Idol sent home Lacey Brown. Her ‘save me’ performance didn’t win over the judges and she was sent home. I am very bummed.
I am starting to feel bad for Katie Stevens and the constant ‘directions’ the judges are giving her, always conflicting. What is that about?
Sad to see anyone go at this point, but this experience will open so many doors.. best of luck to you Lacey! You rock girlfriend!!!

Well, Lacey got eliminated and its not too emotional only because she was never really a favorite but she wasn’t nearly the worst either. I guess the hardest part was that this would have been her second attempt which means she’s got some inkling of a real future in singing but probably will be very niche, like the cardigans or sixpense. Otherwise I stick to my opinion that Siobhan will take it all and Crystal will be the runner up.
Right! JJF was smokin’ — David Cook and his band gave lessons on how to rock the Idol stage tonight. Heck yeh!
David Cook and The Anthemic really owned that Idol stage. I hope the kids took some notes because after that smoking hot performance of JJF, the bar is set waaaaay to high now!
