The southern California mama with serious style, Gwen Stefani glams up the April cover of InStyle. The L.A.M.B. designer and No Doubt singer wears a bold and bright sapphire blue Lanvin dress for the photo. Here is an excerpt of her interview:

On fame & fortune: “I don’t know how I got so lucky – how this all happened to me. If you were in my shoes you’d be blown away too.”

Her onstage outfits: “I archive and store my onstage costumes. It’s so cute when you pull out an outfit and it’s all complete with shoes and socks and everything.”

Her LAMB Spring 2010 collection: “I just wanted to make a wearable collection, it’s kind of 80’s-inspired so it reminds me of high school.”

Pink type and a pretty Prada dress are the only things that stand out as Vogue UK goes for Kate Moss again as it’s cover model. The over-airbrushed photo is reminiscent of her 2009 September cover (check it here.)

Food Network host and Chef Bobby Flay is on board NBC’s newest reality venture: America’s Next Great Restaurant. The show features ambitious contestants who are vying for a chance to open a chain of eateries in the US. Flay will be one of the five panelists who will judge, mentor and ultimately invest in the winners concept.

Originally the series was titled United Plates of America. Hopefully the show (and the winning restaurant) won’t be so bland, like the new blah, boring show name.

Summer Glau is headed into superhero territory soon. The actress has been cast in a pilot for NBC called The Cape. Glau will play an investigative blogger named Orwell. Glau has been on some of the best TV sci-fi series in recent years: Firefly (and it’s movie big sister Serenity) Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Dollhouse. Here’s hoping her show is great, gets picked up and LASTS…

HBO landed an incredible cast for their updated version of the classic depression-era drama Mildred Pierce. Kate Winslet takes on the role that gave the formidable Joan Crawford an Oscar for her performance as the mother who tries to gain acceptance in her ungrateful daughter’s eyes.

Guy Pearce and Evan Rachel Wood are also on board. Shooting begins in New York City in April. The movie will be shown on HBO as a five part miniseries.

Victoria Beckham graces two April magazine covers and rocks two totally different looks.  She’s all cute and sweet (and holding a puppy!) for Glamour Sweden, and fiercely glamorous for Marie Claire Australia.

I like both of these looks for Posh, especially the Marie Claire cover.  It reminds me of her Harper’s UK photoshoot from back in December, which I really loved.  But which Victoria Beckham cover do you prefer?  Vote below and tell us!

Claudia Schiffer was snapped dropping her kids off at school on Friday morning and wow!   I love Claudia’s dress… it’s an amazing color, it looks really comfy and you would never guess she’s like seven months pregnant.  It’s just not fair.  What woman who already has two kids and is cooking #3 looks that good doing the school run?

(It’s a good thing no one is trying to take pictures of me when I’m dropping the young’uns off in the morning.  No one wants to see that mess. Yeeesh!)

So I have a question.  Claudia and husband Matthew Vaughn named their two older kids Caspar and Clementine.  Do you think they’ll carry the “C” name theme forward with this baby?

Taylor Momsen is well-known on two fronts:  she’s a hit on the CW”s Gossip Girl, and gaining exposure for her band, The Pretty Reckless.   However, she’s not necessarily as fond of fame as you might think.  She said:

“I’m not Paris Hilton. I don’t really care about being a celebrity. It comes along with the territory so you can’t totally avoid it. But there’s a difference between doing the red carpet and having people invade my personal life taking pictures of me. And that’s why celebrity is so stupid. You don’t want to become something that a few million people watching your show want you to be. I want to be who I am because, if I lose that, then what am I doing this for? It’s not about fitting in. If you don’t fit in as yourself, then you don’t fit in.”

Taylor sounds oh-so-16-years-old, but she’s got a point.  Hopefully she continues to keep her head on straight.
