Kirstie Alley’s Unique Pets: Lemurs! (VIDEO)

This is one of the most random bits of celebrity trivia I’ve ever learned: Kirstie Alley keeps lemurs for pets! I was hoping they’d be roaming freely through her house, but no… they live in an enclosure in the yard. And she takes being a lemur mommy seriously. She has two full time caretakers for her lemurs and has written them into her will:

“These guys live 40 years — they are in my will…They are totally in my will because, you know, who would take care of them?”

We will no doubt see much more of the lemurs in Kirstie’s new show, Kirstie Alley’s Big Life, premiering March 21 on A&E.  I might actually end up watching this show just for the lemurs!

Scott MacIntyre and Matt Giraud did the ‘half-time show’ on a dueling piano and did a great job.  Loved seeing them back on that stage.  Well done guys!

Casey James Dark Past In JAIL – MUGSHOT

Katelyn Epperly, Todrick Hall, Alex Lambert, and Lily Scott were sent home after not receiving enough of America’s vote to keep them in the running for the American Idol 2010 crown.  And that leaves Didi Benami, Siobhan Magnus, Paige Miles, Casey James, Tim Urban, Lee Dewyze, Crystal Bowersox (who I don’t think could have looked less thrilled), Michael “Big Mike” Lynche, Lacey Brown, Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, and Katie Stevens as our Top 12!!

Michael Lynche and Casey James - American Idol 9

Last night on American Idol, the Top 8 guys took the stage and one of them blew everyone away.  Michael Lynche (Big Mike) brought Kara to tears singing, This Woman’s Work straight from the heart.  He just set the bar SO high, I hope the other guys can reach it!

Casey James Dark Past In JAIL – MUGSHOT

Casey James also impressed me (as usual) but didn’t seem to get any real love from the judges. Keith Urban is hot, Casey James is hot… it made sense to me!
