A couple of weeks ago, Crystal Bowersox tried to quit American Idol. But thankfully, Ryan Seacrest was able to talk her out of it. After a show, Crystal was out in the parking lot when revealed how much she hated the attention and couldn’t handle the competition. She asked Ryan, ”What’s the point?”

All Crystal wanted to do was go home to Ohio and be with her family. Ryan reminded her that if she won, she’d get a recording contract and become a millionaire. Then he really won her back over when he said,
“The greatest thing I ever did was make enough money so I could buy my mom a house. You can buy your mom a house.”
