Kylie Minogue Out Of Focus For Elle UK

Kylie Minogue for Elle UK

Your eyes are fine, no need to worry. Kylie Minogue is blurred in a soft shade of pink for the subscriber’s cover of Elle UK.

The Australian pop singer has a new album, Aphrodite, coming out and fans recently crashed her website trying to get the first taste of her initial single, “All The Lovers.” (Listen to it here.)

“Aaahhhhhhhh … you’ve overloaded the system!!! arrgggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!… That is the strength of your combined power!!!!!!! OMG (Oh my God)!!!,” Minogue wrote on her Twitter page.

The album is Minogue’s 11th and due out in July.

The cover is getting a lot of flack for being out of focus but I like it – it’s different and it is memorable. Most magazine covers are so similar you don’t remember one from another.

No wonder why print is dropping in sales. I for one, if I was Kylie manager….right Terry, wouldn’t allow an out of focus shot of my commodity. That’s like putting water inside gasoline. As if the cameraman’s art is worth more than Kylie. Absurd.

    P.S.: Kylie’s site wasn’t overloaded. It was a stunt.

Bret, it’s known as art. Would you rather see someone pissed in a gutter like most mags coverage of celebs? I think its stunning. Lovely to see someone still taking risks
