Last night the Top 9 performed to the sound of the one and only Elvis under the guidance of mentor, Adam Lambert on American Idol. I love Elvis and I think he’s pretty much a “tough act to follow” making last night nearly impossible for me to truly enjoy. No one really owned the stage. Crystal Bowersox was great, Tim Urban melted me, and Lee Dewyze was impressive. BUT, no one blew me away.

Since the judges chose to save Michael “Big Mike” Lynche, two contestants are sentenced to go home tonight. The save is gone now.
I will have the results and recap up when the show concludes so check back in a bit. Until then, who do you think is going home? I am pretty positive my pal, Andrew Garcia will be history and perhaps Katie Stevens?
Another American Idol ARREST (MUG SHOT)
Recap: The show kicked off with the contestants singing a montage of Elvis hits followed by the Ford commercial. Then we got to the beginning of the results.
The first group of three was Aaron Kelly, Casey James, and Andrew Garcia. And then immediately Ryan told Andrew he was out. Casey and Aaron were safe. It was sad for Andrew. His wife was clearly upset, pretty awful.
Brooke White and Justin Gaston (odd) sang a beautiful duet, If I Can Dream.
Next were more results. Ryan had the rest of the contestants all take the stage to torment them. Crystal Bowersox was the first to be safe. Then Siobhan Magnus and Lee Dewyze. Up next was Adam Lambert performing, Whaddya Want From Me. Thankfully it was rated G and there won’t be any bitter letters flying at FOX.
Next to be safe was Tim Urban. Then Michael Lynche. Katie Stevens was sent packing.
So it looks like my predictions earlier (above) were correct.
