Yay!   Conan O’Brien finally has a home!

Conan O’Brien has signed with TBS where his late night show with debut in November with the George Lopez show, Lopez Tonight moving into the midnight slot.

“In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theater, and now I’m headed to basic cable,” O’Brien said in the statement. “My plan is working perfectly.”

ConanTweeted Monday:

“The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I’ll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show.”

Miley Cyrus is still enjoying the buzz from The Last Song and she’s got a whole new buzz beginning.  Her next big screen appearance will be with Demi Moore in a remake of the movie, Laughing Out Loud.  The same director will be doing the new version, LOL.  Demi will be playing Miley’s mom.

Taylor Momsen is over one side of her career, acting.  Well at least on the hit show, Gossip Girl. Momsen told reporters that she is “done” with the show.

Former Bachelorette, Jillian Harris dished a bit on Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi’s relationship to People in Chicago at the Real Simple magazine 10th anniversary party.

Jillian admitted that she didn’t really like Vienna in the beginning of their relationship.  But, after getting to know Vienna in recent months, and seeing how happy she’s made Jake, Jilliam has changed her mind.

“She’s a doll. I like her as a person.  I saw how she brought out a better side of him.”

Jillian thinks they need to tune out all the gossip about their relationship, as she has learned to do.

“What happens on the internet or on TV, or the speculations that people make does not define the outcome of our life.
You don’t really fall in love until three to six months after the show ends.  Luckily with Ed, we are a lot alike, we have the same values, we have the same upbringing.  I really fell in love with him after the show.”

That is very good advice.  I think that Jake and Vienna have already shut out the gossip and dirty tabloid rumors that some just won’t seem to let go of.  Bottom line, if Jake and Vienna are happy and in love, no amount of false headlines is going to take that away.

OMG!  I was already a bit surprised by the recent make out session (photos here)  between Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner.  But, hey… they are young, single, and Brody likes a variety of notches on his bed post right?  But hello!  Tattoos?  Yes, tattoos. Brody and Avril were at the opening party for Mario Barth’s King Ink down in Las Vegas this weekend where the PDA was abundant.  Before the night was over, they were getting tattoos.  Avril got a 30 with a lightning bolt through it on her wrist and Brody got a matching lightning bolt below his ear.

It’s just so permanent and this fling is so NOT permanent.

Jenny McCarthy has announced that she will be closing her school for autistic children, the Talk2Teach Academy.

She and her business partner, language pathologist Sarah Scheflen

“had different visions for the school and made a decision to go their separate ways.”

Jenny founded the school in 2007 after learning that her son Evan was autistic.

Coming on the heels of her breakup with Jim Carrey (and I still can’t believe they really split up….) this has got to suck for Jenny.  Hopefully she’ll find new ways to support children with autism.

Ain’t no stopping Andy Dick from getting wasted and acting stupid.  He was kicked out of the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula, CA this weekend for being too drunk.

The manager said he “showed signs of intoxication” and apparently didn’t leave fast enough when asked, because security had to escort him off the property.

Very classy, Andy.  At least he didn’t get himself arrested this time.
