Demi Moore is covering Elle UK for the May 2010 issue.  In it Demi talks about all of the alleged plastic surgery she’s had and the obsession with her body that she has finally conquered.

“I had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it a measure of my own value.  I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it never lasted and ultimately it didn’t bring me anything but temporary happiness.  Does being thin resolve anything? No. The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I’d always wanted.  But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless.”

Well said, Demi.  It is meaningless.  I think you should toss the photoshop on the rest of your shoots and let the world see your natural beauty.  The newly attained body that you are finally satisfied with.

Sam Worthington is ready to do a sequel to the megahit, Avatar.

Hollyscoop talked EXCLUSIVELY with the film’s star Sam Worthington, and he gave us the scoop on what he knows about a possible Avatar 2.

We asked Worthington when we could expect to see a sequel to the highest-grossing film of all time, and he told us, “When the boss decides that he is up for the challenge. When he writes it and tells me to jump, I’ll jump.”

Of course he’s ready to make another one, the first movie propelled him to a level of stardom that he probably only dreamed about. Not to mention the money he’s worth now, I’m sure his paychecks are pretty insane. If a sequel ever happens don’t expect to see it before 2015 at best.

Lady Gaga is covering this month’s issue of Cosmo UK, but I think a bit of her ‘thunder’ has been stolen by the centerfold.   A naked Alex Reid is posing nude to raise awareness for testicular and prostate cancer for men everywhere.

I think this is a very bold statement.  I appreciate the attempt to spread the word and I do hope that it helps men around the world to get checked and stay on top of their health.

TLC has announced that Kate Gosselin will be headlining her own show, ‘Twist of Kate‘ this summer.

The show will be based on Kate responding to “fan letters from women inspired by her story as the basis for profiles of women facing their own challenges.”

Jon Gosselin Asks For A Reality Check

Kate told USA Today:

“I look at it as a loose concept.  I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything.”

Kate’s going to be hands on, visiting ‘everyday’ people and touching lives with her own.

TLC’s chief Eileen O’Neill says,

“She will be in that person’s shoes. And more often than not, it’s not going to be terribly comfortable for her. She’s game for things, but she also has limits and boundaries.”

Kate currently competes on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. Though she has been getting negative reviews from judges, she is attracting viewers (the show recently beat American Idol two weeks in a row).

Kate Gosselin really appreciates all of the fan support she’s recieved.

“The fact that people really support me and want the kids and I to do well … is flattering.  I never understood the importance of fans until we struggled and went through tough times.”

Christina Milian and her hubby, The-Dream are proud parents of little baby girl, Violet.  Mama Milian is showing her off on the cover of Us Weekly (on stands now) and she is gorgeous!  (Both of them!)

“She’s got a lot of personality!  She laughs a lot!”

Christina has already lost 27 of the 45 pounds she gained.

“I’ve been eating salads and fruit like crazy.”  Plus, the breast feeding will burn the fat as well!  ”I’m surprised how hungry she is.  Like, how do I keep up?”

Congrats once again!  Violet is beautiful, like her mama!

I’ve been a big fan of Maura Tierney since her years on ER.  So when she became ill with breast cancer, I was heart broken.  I am so happy to report now, that Maura is back to work, shooting new scenes on FX’s Rescue Me as Denis Leary’s love interest.  We will be seeing her in at least four episodes in 2011.

Tierney’s rep told TV Guide Mag:

“[Maura] has finished treatment and is doing very well and is happy to move forward with the next phase of her life.”

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star, Christopher Meloni has set the record straight on his future with the show.  And that means he’s NOT leaving!  Meloni explained all the confusion to Us:

“It’s lies. All lies. No. What I said was ‘When your contract is done…that will be the end. Because when your contract is done, it’s usually the end.  But when [producers] come back to me, you know, we can always talk.’ I couched it incorrectly. It wasn’t [the reporter's] fault.  I had one year [left] on my contract. Our show hasn’t been picked up. Those are the facts of the matter.”

So, if the show gets picked up again, he will be on board.  ”Yeah. Why not?”

I know that this is a huge relief for a LOT of fans out there.  Congrats!
