The eighth annual Dressed to Kilt event was hosted by Sean Connery and reveled in all things Scottish. The theme for this year’s benefit was Mad for Plaid and the proceeds went to the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Scottish Erskine Hospital. Alexander McQueen, the brilliant fashion designer who committed suicide earlier this year, was also honored.

Joan Jett, Sam Waterston, Matthew Modine, Kyle MacLachlan, Kellie Pickler, Alan Cumming, Al Roker, Marcus Schenkenberg, Kelly Bensimon, and Mike Myers were among the celebs who participated. Check out all their pics by clicking the link below:

Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody is pregnant! The Jennifer’s Body writer announced the upcoming bundle (and she confirmed her not so surprise nuptials to Dan Maurio) on her twitter:

“I’m not ‘secretly married. I married Dan last summer. Took wedding photos in Times Square, which is pretty much the opposite of secretive.”

Maurio is a staffer on Chelsea Lately on E!.

Adding her considerable charm and talent to the latest Ron Howard directed comedy, Winona Ryder beat out a number of other high profile actresses to become the female lead in the movie (formerly known as) Cheaters. Ryder came away the victor after beating out Carla Gugino, Kate Beckensale and Uma Thurman.

Why is the role so coveted? Well it turns out the film is no tried-and-true fat guy/hot wife comedy. Rather, the movie, from screenwriter Allan Loeb (21), centers on two best friends, played by [Kevin] James and [Vince] Vaughn. When Vaughn’s character discovers that James’ wife (Ryder) has cheated on his best friend, he confronts her directly and must decide whether or not he will tell his friend. (Thus, the film often pits Ryder’s character opposite Vaughn’s.)

Looking forward to Ryder and Vaughn going at each other on the big screen.

Ryder will also be in Black Swan with Natalie Portman.

Singer Lily Allen is getting illustrated for Harper’s Bazaar Australia. The cover for subscribers will have artist David Bromley using a shot from Allen’s HB Russia January 2010 photo shoot and turning it into the opening piece. Unique and economical (using an existing photo – nice!) Allen is made a wee bit more politically correct as the illustrator ignores the cigarette in her hand from her original shot. “I wanted something elegant and gorgeous and at the same time rather masculine and raw,” the actor declares, his Glasgow burr somehow enhancing the description. “I guess I would describe the apartment as bohemian old-world rustic château with a taste of baroque.”

Kim Kardashian is one hot item.  A hot single item at that.  She draws a huge crowd and well, it’s known that nightclubs will do just about anything to get her to host a night and bring them a crowd.  There is only so much of Kim Kardashian to go around.  She is one hard working girl who usually has her candle burning at both ends.

A slimy nightclub by the name of, Azukar Lounge in Sacramento, CA made some flyers with Kim Kardashian poised in lingerie, claiming that she’s going to be there on April 29.  Well, it just isn’t so and Kim said so on her Twitter, “This is completely fake!”

So, instead of drawing a crowd, Azukar Laounge has shot themselves in the foot.  Smooth. Real smooth.  Like Kim will ever make an appearance there now.

According to reports from TMZ, Brian McKnight has a love child that no one knew about.  That is no one in the media, until now.

Last week, McKnight was in court for a child support hearing over his son, Evan Brian McKnight. The baby mama is Miriam Moreno.  She is represented by Mark Vincent Kaplan.

It doesn’t look like McKinght is fighting anything, I am guessing that mama want more cash flow….
