Naomi Watts recently talked with the New York Daily News and revealed that she does the same work-motherhood-relationship balancing act that most of us moms have to do every day:

“I see myself as any other woman.  Every day I’m struggling to get it right, be a good mother and have time for my relationship with Liev [Schreiber]. I’m not sure whether I’m doing any of it right, but I’ve finally got to the age where at least I know that I’m just doing my best.”

Scientology can never have enough members with lots of money to fill its coffers, and celebrities evidently make perfect targets.  A new book by former Scientologist Amy Scobee claims that Brad Pitt was on a short list of A-listers who have been actively recruited to join the church.

Brad’s flirtation with Scientology began in the early 1990s when he was dating Juliette Lewis.  The pair became regulars at the Los Angeles Scientology Center, and Brad supposedly even took a couple of classes.  Even though Brad ultimately “didn’t think it was for him,”

“He was high on the church president’s list of stars they felt could be ‘recovered.’  There are many household names on that list and they never, ever give up hope of another major catch like Tom Cruise.”

“Major catch”??  I really don’t care who practices what religion as long as they leave me alone to do my own thing, but talking about people’s religious faith in those terms is kind of gross.

If you ever wondered what Bridget Marquardt would look like if she died on the way to her wedding, now you know.  Bridget and her sweetie Nick Carpenter hosted the Halfway to Halloween Costume Party Saturday night at the Eve nightclub (Eva Longoria Parker‘s spot, by the way) at Crystals in City Center-Las Vegas.  They chose to dress as a dead bride and groom, though from the looks of their make-up, Nick gave up the ghost several hours before Bridget did.

Seriously, they are calling out Kate for going on Regis and Kelly after being booted from DWTS.  Um, hello.  Every pair does that.
