Why am I not surprised?  Soon to be ex Gossip Girl, Taylor Momsen loves knives.  In fact, she finds them to be therapeutic.  Huh?  Yes, it helps her to “relax” when she flicks her switchblades open.

“I have a knife collection. I have my favourite black knife with me all the time. It’s a switchblade.  It relaxes me to flick it. I close it and open it.  I flew from New York to Los Angeles and still had a couple of knives in my purse. I thought I took them all out but they got tucked up in the folds.  I took them through security, took them on the plane, opened my bag to get my wallet in LA and they fell out. I was like ‘holy s***.”

First that’s just weird for a young female to carry around switchblades.  It’s dangerous!  Second, great job TSA.  I feel so much safer knowing that you threw away my bottle of shampoo but let Taylor Momsen and who knows who else carry multiple switchblades onto a plane!
