Mariah Carey was in Egypt, getting ready to perform when she had to put out a fire that ignited under her feet!  She Tweeted her story:

“In Egypt getting ready to go on stage and suddenly there was a surge of power and an electrical fire started under my feet! Wtf?!” wrote Carey, 40.

“Naturally, my emergency instincts kicked in and I put out the flames w/a towel. Lol (yet true),” she wrote a few minutes later.

“The funny thing about this ish is an ol’skool radio station in the other room started playing “aww freak out!”@that exact moment!”

“Appalled U didn’t tweet to see if I’m OK after the fire incident in Egypt! (Said in my diva theatrical accent:)”

“These r the charred remains of my fire on the Nile: )”  (below)

Amy Adams and her fiancé Darren Le Gallo are happy new parents.  Amy gave birth to a baby girl on May 15 in Los Angeles. Aviana Olea Le Gallo weighed in at a perfect 7lbs.

“Everyone is doing well,” a friend of Amy’s told RadarOnline. “It’s very exciting for Amy, Darren and their families.”

Congrats to the happy family!  Enjoy your little princess!

VH1′s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew doesn’t look like it has much of a future.  Why?  Because no one (celebrities) want help.  At least not to be broadcast on TV.

The next season of the show was supposed to already have a cast lined up.  But they can’t tack down a single celeb.  The deadline has been extended to Wednesday.  So they have all of two days to find decent celebrities to sign on.

It’s not going to happen.

Juan-Carlos Cruz has officially been charged with attempted murder and solicitation of murder (details here) for allegedly trying to hire two homeless men to kill his wife, TMZ reports.

The L.A. County D.A. has scheduled Cruz to be arraigned later this afternoon.  Juan-Carlos Crus intends enter a not guilty plea.

His wife, Jennifer Campbell is listed as the intended target.

The D.A. wants bail set at $2,000,000.  If Cruz is convicted, he will likely get life in prison.

Charlie Sheen seems to think very “highly” of himself, despite all the drama that has filled his life for the past six months.  There has been so much speculation as to whether or not Sheen would be returning to film further seasons of the hit TV show, Two and a Half Men.  Well, if the price is right, Sheen is on board.  But, is Warner Bros. really willing to pay Charlie Sheen $2 million per episode?  Is he really worth all that?  You’d think he was an Oscar winner or something.

Tiger Woods’ #1 mistress is taking off her clothes again. This time it’s not just for Tiger though.  It’s for the entire universe.  Uchitel has inked a deal with Playboy to strip down for the men’s mag.
