Tonight is the season premiere of The Bachelorette featuring Ali Fedotowsky.  She is already loved and hated by millions of fans.  Will she be able to win over all the haters in her own season filled with romance, drama, and a bit of comedy?  Only time will tell.

The latest information coming in on the death of Brittany Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack say that there were (of course) empty prescription bottles next to the bed where his body was found.

For now they are saying it was likely either “natural causes” or an “accidental overdose.”  Plus, Monjack was scheduled to have bipass surgery in September.

If I can just give my opinion, I’d like to say that I believe this was a suicide.  I wasn’t at all surprised to see the headline this morning.  Simon Monjack likely wanted to die the same way Brittany Murphy did.  It makes total sense to me.  ”accidental overdose” doesn’t make sense if your wife just died…..

Jesse James was interviewed by Nightline’s Vicki Mabrey and he confessed that,

“I took a pretty amazing life and marriage and threw it away.”

Later on he says,

“I think it’s ‘most hated man in the world now.”

I don’t know about most hated in the world.  But, he’s pretty well hated.  He messed up big time. But guess what?  He lost it all.  He has to suffer that punishment for the rest of his life.

You can see a portion of Jesse’s interview tomorrow (25th) on Good Morning America, then the complete interview will run on a special edition of ABC’s Nightline that evening at 11:35pm.

I think it’s going to be interesting.

Kendra Wilkinson denying the release of her sex tapes is all for show.  According to RadarOnline, Kendra and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Frye have worked a sweet deal with Vivid Entertainment.  There are going to be many sequels to the Kendra Exposed DVD coming out in a few days.  Justin initiated the deal with Vivid, but Kendra did sign off on it.

Kendra will be receiving a check for $680,000 this week and there will be a lot more where that came from once the other tapes are released.

One of the tapes even has some girl on girl action.  Kendra didn’t hold back at all and let her then boyfriend Justin film her with multiple partners.

One source says,

“There are hours of tape and it’s all high quality, too.  Justin was more than an amateur cameraman. He had experience filming street biking and this is some of the gnarliest tape footage in terms of quality that anybody has ever seen, ever.”

What I want to know, is Hank Baskett behind all of this too?  Or is he going to rage over it?  This could be the beginning of the divorce……

Venus Williams finally had a victory at the French Open.  It’s been a sort of millstone around her neck and she did it in “high” fashion.  In fact the outfit that Venus chose to wear is getting more buzz than her actual victory over Patty Schnyder!

Showing way too much skin and very near a double nip slip, Venus Williams wore a lingerie themed, tiny dress.  With the nude boy shorts, she was definitely going for shock appeal, and it worked.

So tell me, is Venus allowed to do this in your mind or is crossing the pro-tennis line?

Simon Monjack, widower of Brittany Murphy, was found dead late Sunday night in their same home she died in, in the Hollywood Hills.

Brittany’s mother, Sharon Murphy, discovered Simon Monjack unconscious in the master bedroom at 9:30PM, and then called 911.

Monjack was pronounced dead by the paramedics when they arrived arrived and their efforts couldn’t revive him.

For now they are saying Monjack died from cardiac arrest, but that’s not official, yet.

UPDATE: Police have conducted a death investigation, but have already called it off as there were no signs of a suicide or foul play.  There were prescription bottles found, but none were illegal drugs and there was no sign of foul play.  Now we will wait to see what the coroner has to say.

Marc Jacobs likes to push the envelope, but the ad campaign for his new scent, Bang, is pretty crazy even for him.  Marc himself appears in the ads, buck naked, on a bed of silver Mylar, with just a strategically placed bottle of the fragrance hiding hiding his man parts.

Evidently it was all photographer Juergen Teller‘s fault.  Says Marc:

“Once I agreed to be the model, I couldn’t see what I would wear to express this. We tried it with clothes, but it didn’t work. Then Juergen had the idea for the silver Mylar, and it all came together. The silver Mylar also gives it that flash, that bang.”

A little too much bang for some tastes:  a Midwestern version of the ad will show Marc cropped at the shoulders.

Bang’s fragrance notes include

“top notes of black, pink and white peppercorns, a heart of primal masculine woods and a drydown of hypnotic elemi resinoid, aromatic benzoin, vetiver, white moss and patchouli.”

I think these pictures are totally awesome, freakishly space age but simple at the same time.  Sell lots of cologne, Marc!

This has been a really great season of The Celebrity Apprentice.  The cast was fabulous. I was thrilled to see such a great mix of celebrity status clashing and working together on each task.  Bret Michaels showed us every side he’s got and I respect the heck out of him.

Holly Robinson Peete was an animal, in a good way.  Yes, she was very bitchy.  But that’s just her passion, fighting it out. I think both Bret and Holly deserve to be in the finale.  I was disappointed to see Sharon Osbourne go, but I don’t know if she could have handled this final task.  It’s a lot.

There has been a lot of questioning and speculation as to whether or not Bret Michaels would be appearing at the finale tonight.  He has been through so much in the past month, he should be in a hospital bed, getting fully recovered.  But let’s face it people.  This is Bret Michaels we are talking about here.  He is a fighter.  He’s not going to sit at home.  Bret Michaels is going to finish this.  He’s going to fight to the finish for his charity. It’s close to his heart and he’s in it 110%.  Plus, there will be hot women, and where there are hot women, you will find Bret Michaels.

I love ya Holly, but this one belongs to Bret Michaels.

Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi teamed up with Habitat For Humanity from the San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys  for Women Empowerment. The Bachelor Gives Back has been a huge success and the happy couple did an amazing job making a difference in so many lives.
