Kristen Stewart Covers Flaunt’s Fashion Issue

Kristen Stewart is Flaunt‘s very cranky cover girl for their Issue #109 – The Fashion Issue.  Lord, all this girl does is complain about fame.   And the paparazzi whom she loves so dearly.  She tells the magazine:

“If I could go to work every day and not have to be followed around by f***ing fifteen gangsters trying to take my picture, willing to do anything for one… It’s not normal.  It’s funny how in America fame is placed so f***ing high—above wealth, above happiness, above everything. It’s so not true. And I knew that before [I was famous]. It was so obvious to me. I don’t know how people can’t see that from an outsider’s perspective. My perspective is the same: it’s exactly what I thought it would be.”

On the other hand, she says we really shouldn’t care about her or what she thinks.

“If fame is the optimum, ultimate position you could ever imagine yourself in, then you would just be the luckiest person in the world. So, anything could happen to them and you shouldn’t care. Why would you care or feel bad about a famous person? They’re famous! I really appreciate everything in my life, but that’s not why I started acting.”

Huh.  So, we shouldn’t feel bad for her when she says the media is raping her?   Good, ’cause I don’t.  She could finish her current contracts and stop acting any time.  She’s obviously choosing to stay in a profession where, sorry to say, fifteen gangsters are gonna follow her around on a daily basis.  If she wants a different life, then choose a different life.  If not, stop complaining about it.

Kristen’s cover shoot by Yu Tsai rocks, though.  Check it out, plus behind the scenes video, after the jump!
