Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have been engaged for over a year and now they are “taking a break,” according to Us.
Bilson appeared on the red carpet of the Take No Prisoners event in Los Angeles wearing no ring.
When asked how wedding plans were going, she said, “No, no plans” and pointed to her bare hand. “No nothing.”
Sources say that they are taking some time off from each other for a month and then they will decided whether or to keep things going. I say it’s over. Might as well call it like it is. These two were never going to make it. Sorry.

Sopranos star, Joseph Gannascoli (Vito Spatafore) was arrested early this morning and charged with DUI. What’s with the celebrity DUIs? Heard of cabs and limos? Don’t tell me you can’t afford one.

Gannascoli was arrested on Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa, FL where he failed the field sobriety test and blew a .111. After posting $500 bail, he was released.

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is Maxim‘s July 2010 cover girl. She’s hot, wet and ready for summer in her bikinis and wet t-shirts. She confesses to a crush on Halle Berry in her interview. But even that faint whiff of bisexuality can’t make Nicole interesting. She’s pretty enough and has a great bod, but there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of THERE there, if you catch my drift.

Ian Somerhalder has made several trips home to his native Louisiana recently to help bring more awareness and attention to the BP oil spill, the terrible and long lasting ecological devastation and the plight of the families who depend on the gulf for their livelihoods. The star of The Vampire Diaries has made a PSA for the local organization St. Tammany’s Humane Society who are caring for pelicans dying from the toxic mess BP has let loose in the region. What also has the actor concerned is the lack of attention this man made disaster has received from his fellow actors in Hollywood, who have the ability to help bring the focus and money to any area in critical need.
“Coming from the entertainment world, I’m really shaken by how quiet Hollywood is,” the actor admits. ”And I say that out of respect for my peers and colleagues, but I’m really bummed that no one is really coming up to help the situation. I think a telethon is a good way to funnel money into these channels…We need to set one of those things up to really paint a picture of exactly how much devastation is here.
“This is ground zero right now,” Ian adds, as he surveys more of the devastating effects of the spill in the region. “I’m looking at this slick of oil. I’ve been watching pelicans die…This place is going to need money, that is the bottom line–money in the right hands to replant these marshes.”
Far too much time has passed, but a telethon is (finally!) on it’s way. CNN’s Larry King and American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest have put together a show that will air at 9PM EST on Monday June 21st and Somerhalder has signed on. Ted Danson, Lenny Kravitz, Chelsea Handler, Robert Redford, and Sting are among the celebs appearing. The Nature Conservancy, The United Way and The National Wildlife Federation will receive the benefits of the event.

The Discovery Channel is planning a tribute to the late Captain Phil Harris in the upcoming episodes to end the sixth season of the very popular series, Deadliest Catch. Harris has been one of DC’s most beloved TV stars of the crab fishing show and his death in February has been a sort of foreboding omen looming over every episode this year. The Cornelia Marie captain had suffered a pulmonary embolism during the fourth season and sat out much of the fifth season due to the complications. This year he returned to the helm full time only to be felled by a stroke in late January. Here is what Discovery has planned for the season ending shows:
DEADLIEST CATCH: Episode 11 – Tuesday, June 22 at 9PM ET/PT The opening episode includes Phil’s initial stoke and the quick action taken by his sons – Josh and Jake – and the rest of the crew to get medical attention. The severity of the situation weighs heavily on the close-knit Cornelia Marie crew as they pray for the best and are left to wonder who will take the boat out without Phil there.
DEADLIEST CATCH: Episode 12 – Tuesday, June 29 at 9PM ET/PT The rest of the fleet begins to hear the unsettling news of their friend and fellow skipper. Captains Sig Hansen, Andy and Johnathan Hillstrand and Keith Colburn all react with stunned disbelief while still keeping an eye on the turbulent waters, as the Bering Sea stops for no one.
DEADLIEST CATCH: Episode 13 – Tuesday, July 6 at 9PM ET/PT Josh and Jake Harris continue to watch over their dad at the Anchorage hospital. They are joined by Johnathan Hillstrand as well as Phil’s inner circle of biker buddy friends. Ever the stubborn fighter, Phil rallies in the ICU.
DEADLIEST CATCH: Episode 14 – Tuesday, July 13 at 9PM ET/PT Despite small signs of encouragement, Captain Phil loses his battle. He passes away surrounded by family and friends.
AFTER THE CATCH (SEASON FINALE): Tuesday, July 13 at 10PM ET/PT The fleet wraps up its time at the French Quarter’s Blue Nile bar in the season finale of AFTER THE CATCH. Captain Phil Harris is remembered in true ‘Nawlins style as fans pour onto Frenchmen Street for a traditional, raucous Jazz Parade. The celebration brings together all the captains to pay tribute to their friend and colleague.
DEADLIEST CATCH: Episode 15 – Tuesday, July 20 at 9PM ET/PT The news of Phil’s death reaches the rest of the fleet. Captains Keith, Johnathan, Andy and Sig all struggle to come to terms with their friend and colleague’s passing.
DEADLIEST CATCH: CAPTAIN PHIL HARRIS REMEMBERED – Tuesday, July 20 at 10PM ET/PT A special one-hour look back at the life of Captain Phil Harris, skipper of F/V Cornelia Marie. The special includes never-before-seen footage, interviews with fellow captains and deckhands and memorable “Phil moments” from the past six seasons of DEADLIEST CATCH, from behind the scenes and fan remembrances recorded at CatchCon 2010 and Phil’s public memorial service in Seattle.
DEADLIEST CATCH: Episode 16 – Tuesday, July 27 at 9PM ET/PT –SEASON FINALE– On the finale of the sixth season of DEADLIEST CATCH, the fleet is still absorbing the news about Phil. But the stormy waters of the Bering Sea never take a break, and the Captains and the crew must soldier on in the race to make their quotas, as the Opilio season comes to an end
These last shows are going to be true heart breakers.

Dr. Dre is still fine tuning his album Detox and it doesn’t appear to be ready anytime soon, but the long awaited collaboration between himself and Jay-Z is even more hotly anticipated. A very rough version of their song ‘Under Pressure’ has hit online (it hasn’t been mixed and has no chorus yet.) Here are the lyrics so far:
“The long-awaited Detox, bitch,” Dre starts the song. “But maybe I don’t wanna stop/ Maybe I don’t wanna quit/ Maybe I like ho’s/ Maybe I don’t want a wife/ Maybe I’m psycho/ Maybe we need to breathe some life in this sh–/ Maybe we are the life of this sh–.”
The chorus is conspicuously absent, then Hov comes in for the second verse.
“Dre, I think I need my sponsor,” he says. “Trying to grow, but I just can’t seem ta/ Having trouble cleaning up like FEMA/ All these little haters got me back with the nina/ Got me bringing guns to work, Gilbert Arenas.”
In the track, Hov says he’s addicted to the finer things, like drop-top coupes, watches and bowlegged girls from the projects. “I’m in this party/ I’m up to no good/ And I should be ducking these clubs, Tiger Woods.”
“I smoke, I drink, I’m supposed to stop but I can’t,” Dre says to end the record. “N—as don’t ask why/ I’m high … I’m a weed head and I’mma treat every day like the weekend.”

Here’s the new poster for the upcoming film Gulliver’s Travels starring Jack Black.
The movie looks like it could be fun, I love this story so it should be interesting seeing a modern take.
