Christina Hendricks is apparently a classic 1950s kind of girl in real life as well as on her show Mad Men. She admitted she loves a guy who drinks an old-fashioned, manly drink. She said:
“My husband loves scotch. And I love it when he orders it. It’s such a classic, masculine drink.”
Of course, this was a very wise thing for her to say as she and hubby Geoffrey Arend hosted a party for Johnnie Walker Black, right? However, I have got to agree that there’s something super classy and solid about a scotch drinker. Sexy!

I don’t think I could do what Jake Pavelka just did. During/after a nasty breakup with Vienna Girardi, Jake made a guest appearance on Drop Dead Diva. But the catch is, he played a reality show contestant looking for love! But, Jake claims his character is nothing like him.

“You’re not gonna see Jake. I am acting! This is a fictitious character that I came up with in my head.”
His character’s name is Toby Dalvin.
“He has similar life experiences but made very different choices…he’s not that nice of a guy.”
During the episode, Toby (Jake) breaks up with show contestant Wendy (Camile Guaty) and he claims he was ”just looking out for myself.”
Talk about close to home! Either way, it’s probably going to be fun to watch. You know Vienna will be glued to her TV….

Jason Segel is the lovable Marshall on How I Met Your Mother, but back in the day he got his start with Judd Apatow in Freaks and Geeks. He talked with GQ‘s Alex Pappademas about his drug of choice, Hollywood gossip, and making a Muppet movie. Yes, you read that right.
On being a former pothead: “I miss smoking a ton of pot. I can’t do it anymore. I’ve got too much work.”
On his mission to revive the Muppet franchise: “It was right after Sarah Marshall, and I had a little bit of juice all of a sudden. Writing juice. And I took this meeting at Disney, and they’re pitching me different stuff to rewrite, and I stopped, and I said, “Thank you, this is all very flattering”—which it was, it’s supercool to suddenly be in that position—”but listen. You guys own the Muppets, and you’re just kind of sitting on ‘em. I really love the Muppets, and I think I know how to bring the franchise back.” And there was literally laughter in the room. Like, “Oh—R-rated Segel is making a weird joke.” And I said, “No, I’m serious. And I’m not gonna make it the Judd Apatow version of the Muppets. It’s not gonna be ironic.”
On finding it hard to believe he’s really FAMOUS: When we started out—when I got Freaks and Geeks, I was like 18, Seth [Rogen] was 16. Judd [Apatow] wasn’t who Judd is now. And we would sit around and just wax poetic about how we’d take over Hollywood someday. And then it happened, that’s the weird part of it—but I think in our minds, we’re still those dudes, sitting around like, “We’re gonna show ‘em all!”
On just how wrong the gossip mill can be: It’s the worst. There was one picture on the Internet, and it said “Jason’s New Flame?” And it was a picture of me and my sister walking down the street. Somehow, if you put a question mark after it, it’s totally legitimate.

Miley Cyrus really thinks she’s all growed up now. She kisses girls onstage. She performs in ever-more revealing stagewear. And now she wants to marry her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. A source says:
“Miley has always been in a rush to grow up, and now she’s getting impatient waiting for a strong commitment. She says if he doesn’t get more serious about their relationship, she’s gone for good. So she’s acting like a spoiled brat who isn’t getting her own way. She feels she truly loves him and wants to talk about spending their lives together. Liam just isn’t ready to go there.”
Well, you know “sources,” but I hope this one really is just made up. For starters, way to scare a guy off for good. Yeah, we’ve been dating a few months, sure, let’s get married. I know you’re still a minor and I’m only 21, but hey. Why not? Yeah, no. Also, why is Miley even thinking about marriage at 17? IF this is true, then I hope that her parents have been firm with her on this point. No one needs to get married that young.

Bruce Beresford-Redman‘s lawyers have filed a formal motion in a Mexico court to challenge the arrest warrant filed against him, TMZ reports.
They are trying prove that Bruce’s rights have been violated. They think that the hotel staff need to be investigated, pointing toward hotel violence as the cause of his wife, Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman’s death.
The Mexican authorities made an official request to have Beresford-Redman extradited back to Mexico earlier this week and I really don’t see them changing their minds.

CSI: Miami star Eva La Rue tied the knot with her boyfriend, Joe Cappuccio. The happy couple said their vaows in Zihuatenejo, Mexico on June 26. Eva even had a hand in designing her Oday Shakar gown.
“We could not have dreamt of a more perfect day. Getting married in this beautiful location on the ocean with all of our family and friends is so special. This is a day Joe and I will never forget. We are so blessed.”

So here’s some further scoop on the Mel Gibson restraining order thing: he and Oksana Grigorieva each have one on each other. Apparently Oksana went to court first, saying that Mel had gotten violent with her (big surprise there). Not to be out-lawyered, Mel then filed for and was granted an order “banning her from saying anything about him and their relationship.” And why, I wonder? What d’ya have to hide, Mel? Inquiring minds want to know…
