Appeal DENIED – Wesley Snipes Gets 3 Years In The Slammer

Well that might hamper his acting career a bit.  Wesley Snipes was denied his appeal, claiming that his 3 year prison sentence for tax evasion was “unreasonable.”  The courts essentially laughed at him and then gave him the 3 years in prison.

Snipes was found guilty of not filing tax returns from 1999 to 2001 back in 2008.  This meant he owed the government about $12k.  What a waste.  Why do this wealthy people try to cheat?  Why can’t they just do the righ tthing and save themselves the trouble and embarrassment?

Snipes will likely check into the big house soon.
