The final autopsy and toxicology results are in for Simon Monjack.  They reveal that he died of acute pneumonia and severe anemia.  There were of course prescription drugs in his blood stream but they were not a lethal amount.

I really thought that this was a suicide.  I expected that Monjack would kill himself after Brittany died.  But this is really creepy.  Simon Monjack and Brittany Murphy died 5 months apart from the same illnesses.

This past weekend (July 16 – 18, 2010) belonged to the new Christopher Nolan film Inception with a solid $62.7 million followed by Despicable Me which held strong in it’s second week with $32.8 million. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice managed to open at #3 with only $17.6 million.

Finally Meryl Streep and Tina Fey will likely be working together in the upcoming film Mommy & Me.

The two very talented ladies are showing interest in a movie project titled, Mommy & Me. There is a 21 year age difference between Tina and Meryl so that doesn’t sound too bad.

Stanley Tucci, Streep’s good friend and co-star in The Devil Wears Prada and Julie & Julia will direct the comedy.

The movie is currently in the very beginning phases. There’s no script yet, but the concept has been getting a lot of buzz at the studios.

I love both of them, should be a great combination! We’ll have to wait and see what it’s going to be about.

Okay, so it’s not like I accustomed to seeing Amy Winehouse lookign “normal” ever.  But there are different degrees of “weird” and well, she’s reached a new level.  Winehouse was watching Nas and Damian Marley perform at Hammersmith Apollo in
London the other night.  But would you look at her body language?  Thumb through the photos below and see what I am talking about.  The girl is sucking her thumb. Full on sucking it like an infant.  That’s not an “ouch!  I hurt myself” suck.  That’s just too odd for explanation.

If you’ve seen the film Gone Baby Gone you know that Ben Affleck is actually a very talented director, so this movie seems like a sure bet. Looks like a good concept and a lot of great acting, I’m looking forward to this one.

The claws are out and I see signs of blood on the horizon.  Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Kathy Griffin have never claimed to be BFFs or anything near that.  But now things are getting ugly between them.
