Angelina Jolie has gone a step further in proving that she and Brad Pitt are the real deal and that their relationship is permanent.  Well, at least the new tattoo on her inner thigh is permanent.

Jon Bon Jovi is such a stud.  Plain and simple.  Last night he injured his leg while performing at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey.  But Jon didn’t grab a stool or call off the rest of the show.  Nope.  Jon kept singing and gave his fans back all the love they were giving him.

James Franco just did a stint as an assassin on General Hospital.   He recently spoke about his experience on the soap opera, playing an eponymous character, and the influence the soaps have had on his career.

On the weirdness of being on a soap – especially playing a character named Franco: “When I went on General Hospital the first time, I think a lot of people were surprised that I’d be on a soap opera. So already it felt like I was an impostor, that people would look at it and think, ‘What is that guy doing on that show?’ But, in addition to that, they called my character Franco, so that added even more to the situation of standing out from the show in a weird way. It’s hard to forget that it’s me, James Franco the actor, on the show when you’re watching it. What that’s doing, at least in my head, is forcing a viewer to look at the show in a different way. It’s pulling real life into a fictional world.”

On being a soap fan by proxy: “I have to say I didn’t watch a ton, but I really appreciated the structure and the serial nature of it and the history of it. I like a lot of films and shows that pay homage to soaps, like Twin Peaks. In a way, I’ve been like a fan by what soaps have influenced me.”

On the accelerated pace of filming soaps: “They move very, very quickly. I guess I didn’t realize how fast they moved, but I quickly tried to adapt and I think I did OK. I learned all my lines!”

Beautiful and confident actress Drew Barrymore covers Elle magazine in a sexy little black dress. Here is an excerpt of her interview with the mag:

On taking stock of where she is now: “For three years straight, I’ve been burning the candle at both ends, and as of last December, I just didn’t have anything left. I’ve been so aggressive about living life to the fullest and being plugged into everything, but now I’ve ripped the plug out of the wall and put it on the floor for a while. I’m thinking about the same things as when I was 15, about spirituality and who I am, who I want to be. It’s cocoon, pupa, larva, and fuck, I’m reborn!”

On the media’s misconceptions of her: “I make movies. I have a passion. Puppies and daisies don’t accomplish anything. That’s not me at all.”

On being single: “If you’re 35 and single and it’s a choice, it feels fine. So I didn’t settle with the wrong person yet. Big deal!”

On her upcoming role in Going the Distance: “I like that it’s not a traditional romantic comedy, with the story line of, ‘Oh, I slept with this guy, but when I woke up, I found out he’s the CEO of my company, and we’re going to live happily ever after once we go through all these crazy perils. I talk shit with my girlfriends. And it can get dirty.”

On why she’s not afraid to get older: “I don’t want to be vain or fearful, and I don’t think I’ll do anything [in terms of plastic surgery], but if I want to do something, I will. From my perspective, there’s no reason to be afraid of aging, because if you age, you’re lucky! The alternative is death.”

On child stardom: “I was raised in unique and trying environments, but they were also amazing platforms for me to have an extraordinary life. Going through hell as a kid made me sensitive to what others in this world go through too.”

I always love Drew. She seems to be honest and direct, owning her successes and her mistakes and doesn’t apologize for living her life on her terms. On sale next week, this is one issue I will buy.

Vogue puts Gwyneth Paltrow front and center for it’s annual age issue this August. The Iron Man 2 star and GOOP blogger is all about transformation and being the best you can be in life. Pushing yourself and your boundaries is what keeps you vital, according to the actress. The mother of two, daughter Apple, and son, Moses; talks about how having children helped to transform her:

“I really discovered another side to myself during those years when I was home with the kids and being very very domestic. It was a very important time for me and I feel like it really rounded me out as a human being,” says Paltrow.

The actress will author a cookbook that is a tribute to her late father, Bruce Paltrow, titled My Father’s Daughter. Gwyneth says she still feels her dad’s presence when cooking.

“I can still hear him over my shoulder, heckling me, telling me to be careful with my knife, moaning with pleasure over a bite of something.”

She says her father gave her lots of great advice about cooking growing up:

Vanessa Paradis is known mostly in the US for her long-term relationship with actor Johnny Depp. She is a talented model, actress and singer who has had many hits in France, her birthplace and through out Europe. She gives few interviews but the French beauty opened up to Marie Claire UK for it’s August print edition and gave everyone a peek at her life with Depp and her latest movie:

Intimidated by his talent:  “Frankly, the thought of filming with him would scare me to death. It’s not that I don’t want to, but I would be frightened that I wouldn’t be up to his standard because he’s so talented. And I don’t know if I would be able to lie in front of him.”

How we keep it together:  “The fact that we’re not together every day plays a big part in keeping our relationship stable. And then we also have a lot of respect and admiration for each other. We understand that, if we want our relationship to continue, we must give each other space, allow each other to go off on our own, and trust each other. Not everyone is lucky enough to be given space and trust.”

On her new movie Heartbreaker and it’s success:  “I had no idea that it would be such a success. But I think everyone wants to see a movie like Heartbreaker once in a while. I like the script. It’s very charming, fresh and really well-edited, the latter being so important.”

Twelve years later, Depp and Paradis are still madly in love with each other and their family time (with kids Lily-Rose and Jack) together.

Heartbreaker has played at a few US film festivals this year.

Looks like someone had a change of heart.  After Naomi Campbell went all out, denying that she had a received a “blood diamond” (details HERE)  from former Liberian President Charles Taylor, she is set to testify in court.

Naomi’s spokewoamn said,

“Naomi Campbell has confirmed she will attend the Charles Taylor trial at The Hague as per the court’s request. She is a witness who has been asked to help clarify events in 1997.”

“Miss Campbell has made it clear that she is willing to help the due process of law.  For avoidance of doubt she is not being accused of any wrongdoing and is not on trial.”
