Avatar: Special Edition 3D is coming to theaters on August 27th, 2010 with 8 minutes of additional footage.

An even longer version of James Cameron’s 3D epic adventure ”Avatar” will return to theaters worldwide on Aug. 27. Fox expects to re-release a 170-minute version of the winter blockbuster in about 400 theaters, featuring all 3D venues and dozens of high-grossing Imax auditoriums.

An “Avatar” special-edition Blu-ray Disc release is anticipated in November, but this is no mere ploy to hype that. Studio execs figure the theatrical reemergence will add at least tens of millions of dollars to the picture’s record domestic and international cumes.

Talk about milking every last cent. I’m sure it will make a lot more, a lot of people loved that movie and will pay to see more of it in the theater. All those who missed it in 3D, here’s your chance.

As if there weren’t already enough of these boring, drug out cases going already…. they are going to torture us even further by delaying Charlie Sheen’s hearing that was scheduled for Monday.

Now the court date has been pushed to August 2 where Sheen is expected to plea bargain his criminal case.  There is still no word on how this is supposed to play out.  Both sides are still hashing it out and now they have even more time to do so.

Charlie is supposed to begin filming Two and a Half Men the following day (Aug 3), but if the judge goes all hardcore on him, that could mean delays.

If the judge is a huge fan of the show, perhaps Charlie will be in luck.  Stay tuned…..

Celine Dion already has a 9-year-old son, Rene-Charles and now he’s getting two baby brothers!  Celine has announced that she is expecting twin boys! The new little bundles are set to arrive in November.  It’s been a long road of in-vitro for Celine and her hubby Rene.

Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels were never legally married.  But this legal separation is going to be just like an ugly divorce.  Tammy Lynn is claiming that Melissa has left her and the twins with no financial support and has filed legal documents asking for full custody of their twin children.

Tammy wants spousal support despite that fact that she’s trying to take away Melissa’s right to the kids. I believe that Melissa should pay a generous child support, but spousal, not so much.

I am kind of surprised that this whole this has turned ugly so fast.  I thought that women would be able to work this out more amicably than if there was a man involved!  Haha!  Guess not…

Betty White is like the Energizer Bunny!  The girl just doesn’t slow down, even at 88!  I love this woman and I enjoy everything she does.  Betty brings a whole new level of comedy to everything she does, that only she can…. She is FABULOUS.
