Christopher Nolan says his brother  has been working on the script for the upcoming Dark Knight sequel set for release in 2012.

Question: Are the gears already turning on your next Batman movie?

Answer: I can’t – the gears are firmly jammed up with this movie.

Q. But Warner Brothers has already announced an opening date for the film in 2012. Surely you’re going to give them something?

A. I wouldn’t let them put out an impractical date. Put it that way. They know me well enough to know what my process is. I do one film at a time. It’s one of my real inefficiencies. As I start to free up on this film, I’ll be thinking about what to do next. I’m also very fortunate I have a brother [Jonathan Nolan] I work with. He’s an incredible asset and has been for many years.

Q. So Jonathan has at least finished the screenplay?

A. Oh, yeah. He’s been working on a script for a long time. And working very hard. So he tells me.

Personally, while I’m looking forward to the next Batman film, Inception has all my attention right now. A month from now when Inception is still raking in large amounts of cash and Nolan has time to start thinking (and talking) about Batman 3 I’ll be more excited.

TMZ is reporting that Mel Gibson has been caught on tape, yelling at Oksana Grigorieva,

“You look like a f*king pig in heat and if you get raped by a pack of ni**ers it will be your fault.”

She secretly recorded these audio tapes during a huge fight over their breakup and custody battle.

On the tapes, Mel Gibson calls Oksana a “whore” and a “c**t” as well.

The tapes are now in the judges hands to help Oksana’s side.

Mel has also sent Oksana a number of incendiary emails that she never deleted.  So it looks like (as if it’s even needed) that she’s got mounds of evidence, proving what a psycho Mel is.

Remember when Mel went crazy on a police officer when he arrested for a DUI,

“F**king Jews … The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.”

This would be the best thing to happen to American Idol since it’s creation.  Bret Michaels is meeting with the AI peeps to discuss the serious possibility of his replacing Simon Cowell on the AI judges panel.  I am going to miss Simon dearly, but I love Bret and I think he think he would be perfect for the job.

Bret spoke with Parade about the opportunity,

“We have a meeting in L.A. in a couple weeks and we’re going to sit down and talk.  I would love to be a judge on American Idol. I think I would bring a lot to the table.  I’m not built exactly like Simon Cowell, but, at the same time, I respect what he did. But I would have to bring my own personality. I think if they have someone in there to try to imitate Simon, it would be a mistake; he’s an original. Bring Bret Michaels in to be original to who and what I am. Bring someone who can bring a little grit, true grit back to the show.”

I soooo agree with you Bret!

I am not sure if I should fear for the life of Justin Bieber’s girlfriend, Caitlin Beadles or not?  As we have seen in the past, Bieber has some pretty intense fans who are likely to be really, really upset that he has gotten back together with his ex, Caitlin.

All the hints of their rekindled love have been popping up on Twitter,

On June 6, Caitlin posted on Twitter: “Bahamas here I come! Gonna be an awesome week!” Then on June 14, Caitlin posted another message: “What happens in the Bahamas stays in the Bahamas!”

When Justin tweeted, “Back in Canda!” on June 19th, Caitlin posted a message of her own: “I hate when you have to leave. It’s like half of me is gone. I miss you already!” The two have consistently stayed in touch despite Justin’s busy schedule.

They broke up when Justin started to get huge and well, I am guessing that they realized that wasn’t a good reason to split and are giving it another chance.  I think it’s so sweet.  Young love.

With all these wedding announcements, it’s about time we had a divorce to balance things out, right?  Today’s lucky divorce winner is… Kelsey Grammer.  His wife, Camille Grammer has filed for divorce to end their almost thirteen year marriage.  All the hype on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills must have soaked in, eh?

In the divorce docs, Camille is going after joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their two kids, Mason (8) and Jude (5.)  Of course the reason for the divorce is “irreconcilable differences.”

Naturally Camille wants to mooch off of Kelsey’s fortune so she’s demanding spousal support along with the necessary child support.

This was Kelsey Grammer’s third marriage.  Time to remain single, maybe?

Oh boy.  Tori Spelling has been fearing for her husband Dean McDermott’s life ever since he dove into motorcycle racing.  She’s been stressed to the point of tears and anxiety over it and now it looks like she was completely justified in feeling so strongly.

Dean was in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday that has landed him in ICU with a punctured and collapsed lung.

Tori spoke with People about the whole thing,

“He’s in a lot of pain.  He’s taking this as a sign and realizing family is too important to risk his life.”

Sometimes this is what it takes to get through a man’s thick head, I am afraid.  But I am so glad that reality has finally hit Dean.  He’s got to stop the crazy stuff.  He needs a SAFE hobby!

Tori Spelling Launches Her Third Book ‘uncharted terriTORI’ (Photos)

This accident didn’t happen on the track like last time.  This one was while Dean was out riding dirt bike with a couple of his buddies.

“His friend called me and said he was in the ER.   He didn’t want to scare me so he just said he had a crash and that they were X-raying him.  At first I was mad.  I was pissed that he was out biking and crashed. But when I showed up and saw him lying there, and they told me they were admitting him to ICU with a collapsed lung, my heart dropped. My biggest fear had come true.”

We wish Dean a speedy recovery and calm nerves for Tori.  I am glad you’re okay Dean! Get well soon and find a new hobby!

Glee fans were pretty bummed out when Fox decided to cancel the Glee reality show that was meant to find the next cast member.  But now there is good news!

Daniel Radcliffe Going Glee?

The Oxygen network has picked up the series and it’s set to air next summer.

Deadline reports that reruns of “Glee will be heading to Oxygen, which we hear is paying mid-six figures per episode, plus airing a 2011 reality show to find the next Glee star.” The site says that the reality competition will air “on Oxygen for next summer, which fits into the network’s all-unscripted lineup, [and] will feature contestants vying for a role on the musical dramedy.”

SOunds good to me and I know all the Gleeks will be bouncing off the walls for this one.
