Rolling Stone Reveals Leonardo DiCaprio

Interviews are fairly rare from Leonardo DiCaprio, especially those in which he talks about his life. Sure he will chat with interviewers about his movie, his process and the causes he is passionate about (the environment) but the actor is notably shy with personal details. And who can blame him? After his turn as Jack Dawson in James Cameron’s Titanic, the young actor shot to a level of fame that was incredulous, intense and insane. Looking back, the actor says he was “a real punk” and he had an easier time with women before Titanic fame:

On growing up:
“I was essentially a dwarf with the biggest mouth in the world. I would talk back to anyone and be up for any fight, and when you tell a kid that’s three years older than you to shove it, you’re going to get your ass beat…I was a real punk, there’s no question about it.”

On partying in the pre-TMZ age:
“I got to be wild and nuts, and I didn’t suffer as much as people do now, where they have to play it so safe that they ruin their credibility. I didn’t care what anyone thought…. It was also about avoiding the tornado of chaos, of potential downfall. It was, ‘Wow, how lucky are we to not have hung out with that crowd or done those things?’ My two main competitors in the beginning, the blond-haired kids I went to audition with, one hung himself and the other died of a heroin overdose… . I was never into drugs at all. There aren’t stories of me in a pool of my own vomit in a hotel room on the Hollywood Strip.”

On dating:
“I had better success meeting girls before Titanic. My interactions with them didn’t have all the stigma behind it, not to mention there wasn’t a perception of her talking to me for only one reason.”

The DiCaprio issue of RS is on sale today. His latest flick, Inception, costarring Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is in theaters now.

Cameron Diaz Summertime Cool Cover Polish Glamour

Cameron Diaz has made quite a few covers in Poland for the month of August. Above is the very summery chic Glamour cover and below are the shots for InStyle and Joy.

Check out this link for more Cammy covers and check out how many images are recycled. If only we took care of the environment the way magazine editors reuse pics…

Alexa Chung Is Sixties Stylish On L’Officiel

In a very pretty nod to the sixties style, British IT girl Alexa Chung covers L’Officiel magazine for August wearing Burberry Prorsum. The former model and MTV host of It’s On with Alexa Chung is designing t-shirts for her MADWELL collection (see picture here.)

Kylie Minogue Is Out Magazine’s Fabulous August Cover Girl

Gorgeous Kylie Minogue lands on the cover of the August issue of Out magazine. The beautiful Aussie songstress has just launched her 11th album, Aphrodite, and the 42 year old – who first hit the American charts in 1988 with the cover of “The Loco-Motion” – is happy about her tour of North America last year, even though it was not much of a money maker:

“I wasn’t here to prove anything or sell anything and that was absolutely liberating. That whole tour last fall was from the heart. I might as well have just burned hundred dollar bills because it cost me a fortune, but I didn’t care,” she says. “I thought, I have to do this now or I’ll regret it.”

Minogue’s catchy “Can’t Get You Outta My Head” of 2002 is the song most people in the US know her for and who isn’t a touch envious of her for dating the delicious Olivier Martinez? Check out more of her interview here.

Nicole Richie’s Fashionable Sunday Telegraph Spread

Nicole Richie looks relaxed and sensational on the cover of Australia’s Sunday Telegraph magazine. The Winter Kate design mogul had this to say to about style, shoes and scarves:

SPLURGE ON SHOES
“If you’re going to spend on one thing, even when you’re on a budget, I’d say splash out on shoes. They make an outfit. And your feet don’t grow any more, so you can wear a good pair of shoes forever.”

EMBRACE FASHION HISTORY
“I’m a big vintage shopper and I love thrift stores. The beauty of anything vintage is that you’re not going to see lots of other people in the same thing. I like to be different.”

NEVER FORGET THE FINISHING TOUCHES.
“I wear a tonne of accessories. I love scarves. I’ve lost count of how many I have, but you can never have too many – they totally lift an outfit and make it individual.”

Richie was crowned Entrepeneur of the Year by Glamour UK for her growing fashion empire earlier this year. Richie will also guest star (again) as Heather Chandler on Chuck when the show returns this fall.

Britney Spears You Can’t Be Serious! (Photos)

So Miss Britney Spears was spotted out shopping in Sherman Oaks the other day.  Yeah, yeah.  Girl likes to shop right?  But wait… what’s that on the back of her head?!  Wow.  Would you check out those nasty, matted extensions?  How can she go out in public like that?  I am not asking for promo attire.  Just a baseball hat to cover the train wreck hair would be great…  She is wearing a bra, I guess one step at a time, right?

Britney Spears Being Sued For Sexual Harassment

I guess these late night phone calls with Mel Gibson are making her too tired to take care of her “hair.”

He cites the their marriage was “irretrievably broken” and ”there is no hope for reconciliation” in the divorce documents.

How depressing sounding.  What a shame.  Their lives seem so broken.  Hopefully there will be speedy healing and they can raise Violet together/separately.

Tiffani Thiessen Shows Off Beautiful Harper Renn Smith (Photo)

Tiffani Thiessen had her own plan for giving birth, but a anyone who’s had a baby knows… your “plans” go out the window when the real deal actually goes down.  And that’s just what happened to Tiffani.  She was planning on hypnobirthing but as she told People,

“First my water didn’t break; they had to do it for me. Then the baby wasn’t descending, because the cord was wrapped around her neck.”

30 hours later….C-section,

“Once she was finally out, I didn’t even get to hold her before they whisked her away… The whole thing was very surreal.”

Well, she turned out perfectly!  Look at that sweet face.  Harper Renn Smith is a total doll and I LOVE her name!  Well done mama!
