Martin Short’s wife, Nancy Dolman passed away Saturday morning.  She was only 58.  The details so far are very sparse.  Short’s rep confirmed the sad news,

“Sadly, we can confirm that Martin Short’s wife did pass away.  We do not have any other comment to make.”

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics reported to their Pacific Palisades home, but no one was transported.  Which I would presume meant she was DOA and they had to just wait for the coroner, etc.

What a tragic death.  Our thoughts are with Martin and their three children, Katherine (26), Oliver (24), and Henry (21.)

UPDATE: “[Nancy Dolman] was under the care of a private physician for a natural disease,” L.A. County Coroner Chief Craig Harvey told PEOPLE. “There will be no coroner involvement.”

George Michael was the at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court this morning to plead guilty to being stoned and in possession of marijuana when he rammed his Range Rover into the front of a Snappy Snaps store in Hampstead, London on the fourth of July.

George Michael Arrested In A Public Bathroom… Again

The judge suspended his license for six months and then he will have to appear on September 14 to face the charges.  George is likely to get some jail time since he was already busted for the same thing before.

I believe it’s time for George Michael to hire a full time chauffeur, but then that would be too easy, right?

Dr. Who‘s Karen Gillan was snapped backstage at the V Festival in Hyland Park, Chelmsford, England.  She looks a complete mess – disheveled and sloppy, like a younger, cuter Helena Bonham Carter.  Karen is so adorable, though, that it doesn’t matter a bit.  Hope she had a good time at the show!

Keeping Up With the Kardashians season five is looking to be the biggest season ratings wise for the show.  Last night the hit E! show racked in about 4.7 million viewers which made it the series’ most watched season opener to date. Last night the premiere was the second most watched telecast in the history of the E! only behind the finale of last season.

Kate Winslet split from her current husband, Sam Mendes in March and she’s been with her new man, Louis Dowler for about four months now.  I guess she bounces back fast!

The happy new couple spent some time together out and about in London, hitting the club scene and staying out till the wee hours of morning.

Louis is too cute.  I am really can’t blame Kate on this one.  Well done girl!

Woo hoo!  Hip hip hurray!  It’s a great day for Elin Nordegren.  She is officially divorced from Tiger Woods and she came out $100 million richer.

Tiger Woods posted the news on his site:

“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us. Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”

Elin Nordegren Can Move The Kids To Sweden

The divorce was dissolved this morning (Aug 23) in Bay County, Florida. The papers say that the divorce “is hereby dissolved because it is irretrievably broken.”  Elin had also requested to have her maiden name restored to Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren and that was granted as well.

So congrats to Elin and good luck in the future.
